* Died on the 13th March, 1867, and was succeeded by the Mayor; Mr. Charles Septimus Smith taking the place of Mr. Hunter as Councillor in North St. Andrew's Ward.

Died on the 5th November, 1866, and was succeeded by Mr. Thomas Hedley. Mr. Henry William Newton was elected Councillor for East All Saint's in the room of Mr. Hedley.

Was elected Town Clerk on the 3rd of July, 1867, and was succeeded, as Alderman, by Mr. Joseph Pollard; Mr. Thomas Stokoe being elected Councillor for North St. Andrew's Ward, in the place of Mr. Pollard.
