now in force whether made under any enact ment hereby repealed or not shall continue in force until otherwise provided; and (2.) Any officer appointed under any enactment hereby repealed shall continue and be deemed to have been duly appointed under this Act; and (3.) Any enactment or document referring to any Act or enactment hereby repealed shall be construed to refer to this Act or to the corresponding enactment in this Act. (4.) This repeal shall not affect (a) The past operation of any enactment hereby repealed nor any thing duly done or suffered under any enactment hereby repealed: or (b) any right, privilege, obligation, or liability acquired, accrued, or incurred, under any enactment hereby repealed; or (e) any penalty, forfeiture, or punishment incurred in respect of any offence committed against any enactments hereby repealed; or (d) any investigation, legal proceeding or remedy in respect of any such right, privilege, obligation, liability, penalty forfeiture, or punishment as aforesaid; and any such investigation, legal proceeding and remedy may be carried on as if this Act had not passed; or (e) any Act in which the enactment, hereby repealed have been applied incorporated or referred to (5.) BE E it enacted by the Governor, Council and Assembly of this Island, and by the authority of the same, as follows; Short title. clause 66 1. This Act may be cited as bury Cemetery Act, 1891." The West Interpretation. Interpretation 1. In this Act the following words and expressions shall have the several meanings hereby assigned to them, unless there be something in the subject or context repugnant to such construction, that is to say, "the parish" shall mean the parish of Saint Michael. "the vestry" shall mean the vestry of the parish of Saint Michael, "the board" shall mean the Board of "the Established Church" shall mean the Anglican Church in this Island. "the Chaplain" shall mean the Chaplain for the time being of the said burial "the Sexton" shall mean the person appointed by the Board to have charge of theChapel, and of the register of burials appointed under the provisions of this Act. 2. The vestry shall in each year at their Vestry to elect a first meeting after their election, appoint Board of 5 members. from among their own body five of their members, to be a Board of Commissioners, for the time being, for carrying this Act into execution, who shall be styled "the Westbury Cemetery Board." 3. The fee simple of and in the Cemetery is vested in the Board and their successors, in the Board. 4. Any vacancy which shall at any time occur in the Board, either from death, absence from the Island, incapacity to act or otherwise, shall be immediately filled up by the vestry, by appointing any other member of their body in the place of the member dying, departing from the Island, or becoming incapacitated to act, or otherwise vacating his office, as occasion shall require. 5. The Board shall meet at regular stated times, to be fixed by them, at their office, or at some other convenient place previously notified to the members thereof; and the Board may meet at such other time, as at any previous meeting shall be determined upon, and it shall be at all times competent for any two members of the Board, by writing under their hands, to summon, with at least twenty-four hours' notice, the Board for any special purpose, mentioned in such writing, and to meet at such times as shall be appointed therein. 6.
