THE January number of the "PRESBYTERIAN MAGAZINE" is sent to some of the Ministers of the Presbyterian Church, as a specimen. It need not be returned.

AN APPEAL FOR CO-OPERATION.

Brethren in the Ministry and Eldership! Is it wrong, or unbecoming, to ask your co-operation in the circulation of a work, whose aim is usefulness in the Church? If not, your aid in extending the circulation of the Presbyterian Magazine, is solicited in such form as may be convenient.

It has been truly remarked that Periodicals whose terms are pre-payment and low prices, cannot be well sustained without ministerial or other official help from the Church.

If inconvenient to do anything personally, in the matter, will you be kind enough to suggest it to some one, male or female, in the congregation. One new subscriber, obtained through the agency of each person who reads this request, would largely promote the design of the establishment of the Magazine.

C. VAN RENSSELAER,

EDITOR AND PROPRIETOR OF THE PRESBYTERIAN MAGAZINE.
