LIFE

THE PRINCIPLES on which this Company was founded, and on which it continues to act, combine the stem of Mutual Assurance with the safety of a large Protecting Capital and Accumulated Funds. NINETY PER CENT. of the LIFE ASSURANCE PROFITS is divided among the Assurers on the Particiating Scale.

THE PROFITS are divided every Five Years. The next division will take place on December 31st, 1895. MOST POLICIES are WORLD-WIDE from the date of issue. Cheap, simple arrangements for Naval and Jilitary Officers.

CLAIMS paid on proof of death and title.

ANNUITIES of all kinds are granted, and the rates fixed on the most favourable terms.

FIRE DEPARTMENT.

PROPERTY OF NEARLY EVERY DESCRIPTION at Home and Abroad, insured at the most favourable Rates. Net Premiums for 1891 amounted to £1,441,931 68. 7d.

Losses from Fire occasioned by Lightning are made good by this Company. The Company holds itself esponsible for damage done by explosion of Gas occurring in a building not forming part of any Gas Vorks. No charge for alterations by endorsements. Rents of Buildings Insured."

Claims settled with promptitude and liberality. No Charge made for policies.

The Accumulated Funds of the Life Department are free from liability in respect of the Fire Department, nd in like manner the Accumulated Funds of the Fire Department are free from liability in respect of the ife Department.
