To whom God would make known what [is] the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: Coloss. i. 27. And the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Galat. ii. 20. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us. 1 John. iii. 24.

And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. Rom. v. 5. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Rom. viii. 38, 39. And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. 1 John iv. 16. As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, [so] walk ye in him; Rooted and built up in him. Coloss. ii. 6, 7. The secret of the Lord [is] with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant. Psalm xxv. 14. And he

said, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without all [these] things are done in parables. Mark iv. 11. Matth. xiii. 11. For the froward is abomination to the Lord: but his secret [is] with the righteous. Prov. iii. 32. Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed [them] unto us by his Spirit. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 1 Cor. ii. 9, 10, 12. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things. 1 Cor. ii. 15. [Even] the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints. Coloss. i. 26.

s Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection? [It is] as high as heaven; what canst thou do? deeper than hell; what canst thou know? The measure thereof [is] longer than the earth, and broader than the sea. Job xi. 7-9. For as the heaven is high above the earth, [so] great is his mercy toward them that fear him. As far as the east is from the west, [so] far hath he removed our transgressions from us. But the mercy of the Lord [is] from everlasting to everlasting

upon them that fear him. Psalm ciii. 11, 12, 17. I have
seen an end of all perfection: [but] thy commandment [is]
exceeding broad. Psalm cxix. 96. For [as] the heavens are
higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your
ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isa. lv. 9.
the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge
of God! how unsearchable [are] his judgments, and his
ways past finding out! Rom. xi. 33. And without contro-
versy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest
in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached
unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up
into glory. 1 Tim. iii. 16.

t Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this
grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the
unsearchable riches of Christ. Eph. iii. 8. And walk in
love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself
for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling
savour. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ loved
the Church, and gave himself for it. Eph. v. 2, 25.

Blessed [are] they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled. Matt. v. 6. And of his fulness have all we received. John i. 16. Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of [this] calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of [his] goodness, and the work of faith with power. 1 Thess. 1.11. Being filled with the fruits of righteousness,which are by Jesus Christ unto the glory and praise of God. Phil. i. 11. For this cause we also, since the day we heard [it,] do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. Coloss. i. 9. In Him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in Him. Coloss. ii. 9, 10.

The Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I [am] the Almighty God: walk before me, and be thou perfect. Gen. xvii. 1. Is any thing too hard for the Lord? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son. Gen. xviii. 14. How excellent [is] thy loving-kindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings. They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures. For with thee [is] the fountain of life in thy light shall we see light. Psalm xxxvi. 7, 8, 9. If it be [so,] our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver [us] out of thine hand, O king. Dan. iii. 17. My Father, which gave [them] me, is greater than all; and

no [man] is able to pluck [them] out of my Father's hand. I and [my] Father are one. John x. 29, 30. And God [is] able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all [things,] may abound to every good work. 2 Cor. ix. 8. And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. 1 Tim. i. 14. Accounting that God [was] able to raise [him] up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure. Heb. xi. 19. Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present [you] faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy. Jude 24.

w Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power. Eph. iii. 7. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of [his] good pleasure. Phil. ii. 13. Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and long-suffering with joyfulness. Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working which worketh in me mightily. Coloss. i. 11, 29.

x Thine, O Lord, [is] the greatness, and the power, and the

glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all [that is] in the heaven and in the earth [is thine:] thine [is] the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all. 1 Chron. xxix. 11. Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Zion. Psalm lxv. 1. And blessed [be] his glorious name for ever and let the whole earth be filled [with] his glory. Amen and Amen. Psalm lxxii. 19. Let them give glory unto the Lord, and declare his praise in the islands. Isa. xlii. 12. Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. Matt. vi. 13. For of him, and through him, and to him [are] all things: to whom [be] glory for ever. Amen. Rom. xi. 36. To God only wise, [be] glory, through Jesus Christ, for ever. Amen. Rom. xvi. 27. only wise God our Saviour, [be] glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen. Jude 25. And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing and honour, and glory, and power, [be] unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. 2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service. Rom. xii. 1. For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet [have ye] not many fathers; for, in Christ Jesus, I have begotten you through the Gospel. Wherefore, I beseech you, be ye followers of me. 1 Cor. iv. 15, 16. Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so, as ye have us for an ensample. Phil. iii. 17. That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God. Coloss. i. 10. As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in Him. Coloss. ii. 1. As ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father [doth] his children, That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory. 1 Thess. ii. 11, 12. Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort [you] by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, [so] ye would abound more and more. 1 Thess. iv. 1. But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation. 1 Peter i. 15. Not purloining, but shewing all good. fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things. Titus ii. 10.

Better [is it to be] of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud. Prov. xvi. 19. Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgement; seek righteousness, seek meekness. Zeph. ii. 3. Blessed [are] the poor in spirit: for their's is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed [are] the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Matt. v. 3, 5. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart. Matt. xi. 29. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness. Gal. v. 22, 23. Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind,
