PREFACE

TO THE SECOND EDITION.

THE great public interest displayed in the new Law of Bankruptcy has already rendered a Second Edition of this little Work necessary. The opportunity has, therefore, been taken to incorporate the New Rules of Bankruptcy which have just been issued, and which will be found reprinted at length in the Appendix. The "Concise Statement" of the Act itself has been left as in the First Edition. An entirely new and enlarged Index, embracing both the Act and Rules, has, however, been made, which it is hoped may be found of considerable service to the reader.
