THE fifth annual meeting of the Dudley Family Association was held at the Hotel Vendome, in Boston, Mass., October 19, 1897. The earliest arrivals were Hon. E. Dudley Freeman, of Portland; A. B. Wiggin, of Andover; Mrs. Cyrus K. Babb, of Boston; and Rev. James Henry Wiggin, of Boston; who, in the absence of the President, Dr. Albion M. Dudley, of Salem, on account of a family bereavement, presided, as Senior Vice-President and Chairman of the Literary Committee. The records of the previous meeting were read by the Secretary, Franklin B. Williams, and duly approved. The report of the Treasurer, Col. L. Edwin Dudley, was read, accepted and placed on file, and was as follows. |
