A. Judge all, 2 Cor. v. 10. For we must all appear before the Judgment-seat of Christ ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to tbat he bath done, whether it be good or bad. Matth. XXV. 34, 41, 46. 2. Who are the quick and dead?.
A. They who shall be then alive, and all that were before dead, 1 Thes. iv. 15, 16, 17. Fir this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive, and remain unto the .coming of the Lord, shall not prevent theme which are asleep. For the Lord himself skall descend from beaven with a shout, with the voice of the
Archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ fall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain, hall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air, and so hall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Cor. xv. 51. Q. What do ye mean by the Holy Ghost?

Q. Why called a Ghoft?
A. That is a Spirit, John iv. 24. God is a Spirit, and they that worship bin, must worship him in Spirit and in truth.
2. Why Holy?
A. Because the Fountain and Author of Holiness in us, 1 Cor. vi. 11. And fuch were some of you : but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but
ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jefus, and by the Spirit of our God. Tit. iii. s. Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy be saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Hily Gboft. John ii. 5, 6. Jesus answered, verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water, and of the Spirit, be cannot enter into the Kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh, is flesh, and that which is born of the spirit, is Spirit.
Q. How do ye prove him to be God?
A. Acts v. 3, 4. But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart, to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land; whiles it remained, was it not thine own, and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power ; why haft thou conceived this thing in thine beart, thou hast not lied unto men but unto God. į Cor. iii. 16. Know ye not that ye are the tenple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you. Matth. xii. 31. Wherefore I say unto you, all manner of fin and blafphemiy fall be forgiven unto vien : biet the blafphemy against the Holy Ghift ball not be forgiven unto men.
2. From whom doth he proceed ?
A. 1. From the Father, Fabn xv. 26. But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, be shall teftify of me.

What is said of him in the Nicene Creed ?
A. I believe in the Holy Ghod, the Lord and Giver of Life, &c.
Q. How do ye prove he spake by the Prophets ?
A. 2 Pet. i. 21. For the Prophesy came not in old time by the will of man : but holy men of God Spake 'as they were moved by the Holy Ghaft. 2 Tim. iii. 16. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doétrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. Always with us. John xiv. 16, 26. And will pray the Fatbor, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever. Rom. viii. 13, 14. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die; but if ye through the spirit do mora tify the deeds of the Body, ye sball live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the Sons of God.

2. What is the Church?
A. The Congregation, or Company, or Body of a faithful People, Acts ii
. 41, 42, 47. Then they that gladly received his Word were baptized: and the same day were added unto them about three thousand Souls. V. 42. And they continued stedfastly in the Apostles - dločtrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers., v. 47. Praising God, and baving favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the Church daily such as hould be saved. According to the Promise, Mat. xvi. 18. And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock will I build my Church : and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it.
2. Is there only one Church? À. One made up of many, Eph. iv. 4, 5, 6. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one bope of your calling. One Lord, one Faith, one Baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
Q. Who is the Head of this Body?
A. Christ only, Eph. i. 22, 23. And bath put all things under bis feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the Church, which is his body, the fielness of bin that filletb all in all. Eph. 11. 20, 21. And are built upon the foundation of the Apostles and Prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner-Stone.
