A poor creature may soon involve itself in sin and misery, but 'tis beyond the sphere of men or Angels' activity to blot out the least sin, or disentangle the soul of the least corruption. The mighty hand of God himself must be put to the blotting out of iniquities. God requires no more humiliation than to bring a soul to himself and make it capable of mercy.
