So shall I not be confounded, when I have respect unto all thy commandments. I will thank thee with an unfeigned heart, when I shall have learned the judgements of thy righteousness.

I will keep thy statutes; O forsake me not utterly.

O LORD, thy word endureth for ever; it is more firmly fixed than the heavens.

Thy truth also remaineth from one generation to another: thou hast laid the foundations of the earth, and it abideth.

They continue this day according to thine ordinance; for all things serve thee. If my delight had not been in thy law, I should have perished in my trouble.

I will never forget thy commandments; for through them thou hast revived me. I am thine, O save me; for I have sought thy commandments.

The ungodly laid wait for me to destroy me; but I will consider thy testimonies.

I have seen an end of all perfection; but thy commandment is exceeding broad.

Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God;

Answ. Be honour and glory, through Jesus Christ, for ever and ever. Amen.

Or,

Or,

Glory be to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God;

Answ. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

¶ Then shall follow the Second Lesson, out of the New Testament; and after that shall be said Psalm XIX.

Psalm XIX.

THE heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament proclaimeth the

works of his hands.

2. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. 3. Though they have no speech, nor language, yet their voice is heard.

4. Their sound is gone out into all lands; and their words unto the end of the world.

5. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, which cometh out of his chamber as a bridegroom, and rejoiceth as a mighty man to run his course.

6. He cometh forth from the uttermost part of the heavens, his circuit is unto the end thereof again; and there is nothing hid from his heat.

7. The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul; the testimony of the LORD is true, and giveth wisdom unto the simple.

8. The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the LORD is clear, giving light unto the mind.

9. The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring for ever: the judgements of the LORD are sure, and righteous altogether.

10. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than the finest gold; sweeter also than honey and the honey-comb.

11. Moreover by them is thy servant instructed, and in keeping of them there is great reward..

12. Who can tell how often he offendeth? O cleanse thou me from my secret faults!

13. Keep thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me; so shall I be upright and innocent from the great offence.

14. Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be always acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my rock and my deliverer. Amen.

Then

¶ Then shall be read the Lord's Prayer, and the Prayer following.

The Lord's Prayer to be said by the Congre gation after the Minister. The following Prayers to be said by the Minister alone, all kneeling or standing. At the end of each of the Prayers the word Amen to be said by the Clerk and Congregation.

UR Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven; Give us this day our daily bread; And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive them that trespass against us: And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: for thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.

If the Lord's Supper be administered on Christmas-Day, Good-Friday, Easter-Day, or Whitsunday, the Collect for such day is to be used here.

ALMIGHTY God, unto whom all hearts are open, all desires known, and from whom no secrets are hid; purify the thoughts of our hearts, that we may perfectly love thee, and worthily magnify thy holy name, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

A general

A general Thanksgiving. ALMIGHTY God, Father of all mercies, we, thine unworthy servants, do give thee most humble and hearty thanks for all thy goodness and lovingkindness to us and to all men (particular

We bless thee for our creation, preservation, and all the blessings of this life; but above all, for thine inestimable love in the redemption of the world by our Lord Jesus Christ, for the means of grace, and for the hope of glory. And we beseech thee, give us that due sense of all thy mercies, that our hearts may be unfeignedly thankful; and that we may shew forth thy praise, not only with our lips, but in our lives; by devoting ourselves to thy service, and by walking before thee in holiness and righteousness all our days, according to the gospel of thy Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

A concluding Prayer.
