FORM OF A BEQUEST TO THE SOCIETY.
I GIVÉ unto the Treasurer for the time being, of “ THE LONDON HIBERNIAN SOCIETY,” formed in London in the year 1806, the sum of mom Pounds, sterling, to be paid out of such part only of my personal estate as shall not consist of mortgages or chattels real, for the purposes of the said Society ; and for which the receipt of such Treasurer shall be a sufficient discharge.
** Devises of Lands, or money charged on Land, or secured on Mortgages of Lands or Tenements, or to be laid out in Land or Tenements, or to accrue from the sale of Lands or Tenements, are void ; but money or stock may be given by will, if not directed to be paid out of the produce of the Sale of Land or Tenements, or to be laid out in Land.
