• Whom have I on earth below?

Thee, and only thee I know !
Whom have I in heaven but thee?
Thou art all in all to me,

Evangelical Repentance at the Cross.
“ Mary stood at the sepulchre weeping."-

Jno. 20. (S. M.)
I NOT all the blood of beasts,

On Jewish altars slain,
Could give the guilty conscience peace,

Or wash away the stain.
7 But Christ the heavenly Lamb

Takes all our sips away,
A sacrifice of nobler name,

And richer blood than they. 3 My faith would lay her hand

On that dear head of thine,
While like a penitent I stand,

And there confess my crime. 4 Believing, we rejoice

To see the curse remove,
We bless the Lamb, with cheerful voice,
And sing his bleeding love.

A true Disciple. " Behold an Israelite indeed."-Jno. I. (L. M.) | THOU Lamb of God, thou prince of peace,

Hor thee my thirsty soul doth pine, My longing heart implores thy grace,

() make me in thy likeness shine,

2 When pain o'er my weak flesh prevails,

With lamb-like patience arm my breast, When grief my wounded soul assails,

In lowly nieekness may I rest. 3 Close by thy side still may I keep,

Howe'er life's various currents flow;
With stedfast eye mark every step,
And follow thee where'er I go.

" Lord, it is good for us to be here."-

Matt. 17. (C. M.)
1 HIS only righteousness I show,

His saving truth proclaim,
'Tis all my business here below

Behold the Lamb."
2 Happy, if with my latest breath

I may but gasp his name,
Preach him to all, and cry in death,
Behold, behold the Lamb.

CHRIST THE WAY.

The Sinners Joy at Hearing the Gospel
“ Blessed is the people who know the joyful

sound."-Psa. 89. (L. M.)
1 THIS is the way I long have sought,

And mourn'd because I found it not,
My grief and burden long has been,

Because I could not cease from siu, 2 The more I strove against its power,

I sinn'd and stumbled but the more,
Till late, I heard my Saviour say,

Come hither soul, I am the WAY.
3 Lo, glad I come, and thou blest Lamb,

Shall take me to thee as I am ;
My sinful self to thee I give,

Nothing but love shall I receive. 4 Then will I tell to sinners round,

What a dear Saviour I have found,
I'll point to thy redeeming blood,
And say " Behold THE WAY to God I

The True Riches." “ The Lord is my portion.”—Lam. 3. (C. M.) 1 FROM pole to pole let others roan,

And search in vain for bliss, My soul is satisfied at home,

The Lord niy portion is. 2 Jesus, who on his glorious throne,

Rules heaven and earth, and sea, Is pleas'd to claim me for his own,

And give himself for me.
3 His person fixes all my love,

His blood removes iny fear,
And while he pleads for me above,

His arm preserves me here.
His word of promise is my food,

His spirit is my guide,
Thus daily is my strength renew'd,
And all my wants supplieil.
