31 ¶ Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed,10 which a man took, and sowed in his field:

32 Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a 'tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.

33¶Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which 10 a corn of Senevey. Wi.

be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.

37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

MARK, iv. 33, 34: And with many such parables spake he the word unto them, as they were able to hear it. But without a parable spake he not unto them: And when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples.

And they went forth and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the words following with signs. LUKE, xxiv. 47: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. Roм. x. 18: But I say, Have they not heard? Yes, verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world. JOEL, iii. 13: Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. REV. xiv. 15-19: And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped. And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great wine-press of the wrath of God.

MAT. xviii. 7: Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh! 2 PET. ii. 1, 2: But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

I MAT. iii. 12: He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire. REV. xix. 20: And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. do. xx. 10: And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

DAN. xii. 3: They that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament, and they that turn many to righteousness, as the stars for ever and ever. WISD. iii. 7: In the time of their visitation they shall shine, and run to and fro like sparks among the stubble. 1 COR. XV. 41-43, 49: There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differeth from another star in glory. So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: it is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
