PREFACE.

In the fortieth volume of the WEEKLY REPORTER the characteristics of the p tion will be found unaltered. Every endeavour has been made to render the reports su and accurate, and they have been published as soon as possible after the decisions hav pronounced. It is believed that the cases in this volume may be cited with the cont which the Profession has always placed in the WEEKLY REPORTER.

The Annual Digest contains, as usual, a summary of all the cases published duri past year in the WEEKLY REPORTER and in the Law Reports, the Law Journal Report the Law Times Reports, besides those given in the Irish Law Reports.
