The New World, in which Dwelleth Righteousness

The spirit of reform now beginning to be seen--the pious awaking
to the work-moral evils exciting new attention-War-Slavery---
Intemperance--Impurity-other vices aud corruptions--the work
will go on. Reform in the Church-true believers-a view of the
primitive Church--the decline. There will a thorough reform among
the followers of the Savior--the Gospel kingdom peculiar--a sense
of this will revive in the minds of God's people--they will act ac-
cording to that sense-will be separate from evil-will be holy,
wholly conforming to the Gospel--the greatness of the perfection.

CHAPTER VI.

THE WICKED BECOMING MORE WICKED, AND THE

WORLD RIPENING TO ITS DESTRUCTION.

The Scriptures brought into view-the depravity of the human

heart will cause the then facilities to be made use of for this pur-

pose--those facilities contemplated, a greater ease in procuring the

means for sensual gratification, opportunities for intercourse, loco-

motion, the press-new contrivances--the greatness of the corrup-

tion and wickedness-much refinement in connection with mon-

strous depravity.

CHAPTER VII.

EXTREME CONTRAST OF THE WICKED AND RIGHTEOUS

IN THE LAST DAYS.

They must come in hostile contact as the effect of their possessing

reproofs of the righteous exciting the rage of the wicked-the pre-

dicted great contest of the last days to arise from what has been

named-present symptoms.

CHAPTER VIII- -THE JEWS.

An extraordinary people-are to be restored to the divine favor

their conversion, deep penitence--acknowledgment of the Messiah

--strength of their attachment to him-their spirit of obedience--

return to the land of their fathers.

CHAPTER IX.

CONDITION OF THE JEWS WHEN RESTORED TO THEIR

LAND.

They will be greatly blessed--this shown from prophecy.

CHAPTER X.

DEEP DEVOTEDNESS OF THE JEWS WHEN RESTORED,

AND THEIR THOROUGHNESS IN UNDERSTANDING

AND PRACTICING THE GOSPEL.

They will be eminently holy--being every way spiritual they will

have a clear apprehension of the divine and peculiar nature of the

Gospel kingdom--possessing a right and obedient spirit, they will

carry out in practice the great principles of it-thus as it is a king-

dom of peace entirely opposed to war-is not a human government

--allows not its subjects to be conformed to the rest of the world-

they will be the living embodiment of true Apostolic Christianity—

efforts now making to recover its lost principles.

CHAPTER XI.

AGENCY OF THE RESTORED JEWS IN EVANGELIZING

THE WORLD,

View of the divine design-their fitness for the work-the gentile

church not in a condition successfully to engage in it--the land of

the Jews a second time made the centre of the church, and mis-

sionary operations-the gathering of the nations against the con-

verted Jewish people, a conjecture.

CHAPTER XII.

SPREAD OF THE GOSPEL TO THE ENDS OF THE

EARTH.

In what part of the world will the last great work of grace be princi-

pally carried on? In that which has never yet had the light-that

which has possessed and abused it, will be reprobated as the Jewish

nation has been-the work will be rapidly extended, and the har-

vest great.

WARFARE OF THE WICKED AGAINST THE REDEEMER

AND HIS CAUSE.

The Scripture brought into view declaring it-will be very extra

ordinary-its character, that of an infidel kind-two sorts-open infl

delity, and corrupt Christianity having an infidel spirit. Its cause,

the reviving of primitive Christianity, a pure Church coming on to

the stage again-the havoc the wicked will then make among the

true followers of the Lord.

DESTRUCTION OF THE WICKED.

Prophecies showing it-variety of judgments upon them--those on
Anti-Christ, or the Man of Sin-upon the great combination, God
and Magog-these judgments happen at a very late day-will not
have a reforming effect-destruction at the appearing of the Judge.

THE TIME AND SIGNS OF THE NEAR APPROACH OF

THE END OF THE WORLD, AND OF THE

DAY OF DOOM.

The time. While the Roman Empire remains, and is found ex-

isting in its divided state in that of the "ten Kings." The signs--

the Savior's predictions respecting the destruction of Jerusalem and

the end of the world-the signs which went before the first-those

which will precede the last--the manner in which they will be re-

garded by the wicked.

SCENES OF THE GREAT DAY OF JUDGMENT.

The fact declared in the word of God-not believed in, or expected
by the wicked-will be by the righteous-sounding of the Arch-
angel's trumpet-appearance of the Judge-the flaming fire-the
then present and former condition of the Judge contrasted-those
who come with him, angels and departed spirits-resurrection of
the dead bodies-change in the living-the immortality and spirit-
uality of the bodies of the saints-the assembling of the human race,
and bringing them to the bar-done by the angels-who will be
judged? all mankind, and wicked spirits-how the unrighteous will
feel both great and little-different characters described-the then
feelings of the righteous-their disposition and character brought
into view-it is the character of living believers, that they delight-
fully anticipate the coming of the Judge-an inquiry concerning pro-
fessors of the present day. Process of the momentous trial-the
Judge seated on his throne (his qualifications)-dividing the multi-
tude to the right and left-their different feelings-the principle upon
which the proceedings will be conducted, regard to character and
works the occasion improved to admonish careless professors—
the books opened-some account of what they contain-that special
book, the book of life-the sentence-the general conflagration.
