2. What words excited the uproar related, Acts xxii. 22? Show from two passages in the Acts the cause of the Jews' anger.

3.-How did Claudius Lysias propose to learn the accusation against St. Paul? How was this hindered?

4.-For what purpose was the Apostle brought before the council, xxii. 30? Can you tell by what name this council was known?

5. Of whom did the council consist? What difference existed in the religious belief of its members?
