XIX. The several words used in this Act shall be construed in the manner prescribed by the Act, 4 & 5 Will. 4. c. 76, and the statutes explaining and extending it; and all the provisions of the said last-mentioned Act and of the said statutes not repealed shall extend to this Act, except where any provision would be inconsistent with anything herein contained. xx.
