In conclusion let us quote the prophetic words of Chapter xii, 10: "Many shall be purified and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly, and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand."

The doubters in the days of warning
Shall see no sign on either hand,
Nor in the sky from night till morning,
But well the wise shall understand.

The truly wise, how few they number!
Awake and watchful let them be,
As fools are startled from their slumber
By Heaven's descending Majesty.

Then Michael stands in risen splendor,
And Bethlehem's peaceful star and mild

Is guiding such as once did render
The Magi's homage to the Child.

Bright suns in constellated glory,

Shall beam from far a mystic power:
Augmented through the ages hoary,

'Twill be the Master's timely dower.

The planets, from their heapen treasure,
The goodliest gold shall freely lend,
And love outpours in amplest measure
As banded angels o'er him bend.

Then Job, with eyes of earthly seeing,
Beholds his hope and soul's desire,
The likeness of the Lord of Being,
Informed with his transmuting fire.

And lo! the Prophet comes to showing
Of things but hinted in his age,

Dark things well sealed, and past his knowing
Till Daniel scans the opened page.

Our Order holdeth from the unbelieving West High things deemed sacred since the long ago: Within the Hall of Learning is reserved the best, But only glimpses of the Truth we show.

Enter disciple should the way to thee appear!
Yet seek it not upon some lofty ground,
Or in deep caverns groping. Lo, the way is near!
But looking far, thou leavest it unfound,

a place apart,

Nor yet discovered until after much delay,
Then entering, thou shalt reach a plac
Most secret and most silent, for the way
Leads to the inmost chamber of thy heart.
