Ruth ii. 15, 16, 17.-When Ruth was risen up to glean after the reapers, Boaz commanded his servants, saying, Let her gather even among the sheaves, and let fall some handfuls on purpose for her that she may glean them up, and rebuke her not. So she gleanned in the field until the evening, and beat out that she had gathered.
