Moft Gracious God, I acknowledge with all Joy and Thankfulness, thy great Goodness manifefted to the Children of Men in the wonderful Work of our Redemption. I adore thy infinite Love and Compaffion which took Pity upon us, when we had loft and ruined ourselves, and didft fend thy only-begotten Son into the World, that we might live through him. This Day, O Lord, gives me a happy Opportunity of remembering thy special and extraordinary Kindness to thy unworthy Creatures, which calls for my highest and exalted Praises, to be joined with thofe of the

Imprefs, O Lord, upon my Mind, fuch a Senfe of what my deareft Saviour has done for me, that I may celebrate all the Mysteries of my Redemption, especially that which thy Church this Day suggests to my Remembrance, with profound Humility, with exalted Thoughts of thine neffable Goodnefs, and with moft thankful Acknowledgements of thy great Love demonftrated to the Sons of Men; that my Heart and Life being truly affected and influenced by the Power of them in this World, I may, through thine infinite Mercy, receive the eternal Benefit of them in the World to come, where thou, O Lord, livest and reigneft with the Son, and Holy Ghoft, one God, World without End. Amen.

Bleffed be thy Goodnefs, O my Saviour, in fuffering thy felf to be circumcifed, and in being obedient to the Law for Man, whereby, in order to fulfil the Will of God, thou didst take upon thee the Form of a Servant. Grant me the true Circumcifion of the Spirit, that my Heart and all my Members being mortified from all worldly and carnal Lufts, I may in all Things obey thy blessed Will, and after thy Example, be readier to facrifice my Reputation, than neglect my Duty.

Adored be thy Mercy, O bleffed Jefus, in communicating the glad Tidings of thine Appearance in the World to the Peoole of Ifrael, by the Ministration of Angels; and in revealing the joyful News to the Gentiles by a bright and unufual Star ; T 5

How can I fufficiently praise thee, 0 bleffed Jefus, for thy glorious Resurrec tion, whereby thou haft made known the Power of thy Divinity, and proved thyself to be the true Meffias? I rejoice, O bleffed Jefus, in thy triumphant Afcenfion, when thou didst open the Kingdom of Heaven to all Believers, and didft fit down at the Right Hand of thy Father, adored by Angels, and interceding for Sinners. Oh! wean my Mind from the Vanities of this World, and place my Affections entirely on Things above: that I may spend the remaining Part of to fecure an eternal Inheritance.
