The prayer being said, the priest sprinkles with holy water, and afterwards incenses, the body of the deceased and the grave. Then he intones the antiphon :

Ant. Ego sum resurrectio et Ant. I am the resurrection vita : qui credit in me, etiam and the life : he that believeth si mortuus fuerit vivet: et in me, although he be dead, omnis qui vivit, et credit in shall live: and every one that me, non morietur in æternum. liveth and believeth in me shall

not die for ever.

And whilst blessed earth is being placed in the coffin, the Bene

dictus (p.552) is sung. After which is said, Requiem æternam : and the antiphon Ego sum resurrectio is repeated.

Then the Priest says : Kyrie eleison.

The Order of the Burial of Enfants. The Priest, vested in a surplice and white stole, first sprinkles
