Henry Fitzroy, who died in 1794, leaving issue the late Marchioness of Worcester, first wife of the present Duke of Beaufort, and who died in 1821, leaving two daughters; secondly, to Charles Culling Smith, esq. by whom she was mother of the present Duchess of Beaufort, who has issue Henry Marquess of Worcester and six daughters. At Littleton, in the parish of West Lavington, aged 65, David Saunders, the 15th child of the late David Saunders, the subject of Mrs. Hannah More's beautiful tract, "The Shepherd of Salisbury Plain." In early life he entered the army and served in the 25th Light Dragoons; he rose to the rank of Serjeant-Major, but was invalided, and retired on a pension 29 years ago.
