JOHN-DELAVAL CARPENTER, 4th and last Earl of Tyrconnel, Viscount Carlingford, and Baron Carpenter of Killaghy, Co. Kilkenny, in the Peerage of Ireland; d. without surviving issue 26 Jan. 1853, when his titles became EXTINCT. His Lordship was b. 16 Dec. 1790, succeeded 20 Dec. 1812, m. 1 Oct. 1817, SARAH, only child of Robert Crowe, Esq., of Kiplin, Yorkshire, now DOWAGER COUNTESS of Tyrconnel, and had issue,

Lady Elizabeth-Anne, b. and d. 19 Feb. 1847.
