THE CAPE COD SUBSCRIPTION AGENCY

Will Receive or Renew Subscriptions for any Paper,
Periodical, or Magazine published in the

United States.

Having accepted the agency for most of the leading publications in the country, I would notify the citizens of the Cape and vicinity that I will RECEIVE or RENEW subscriptions to any publication desired." Moneys which could not, with prudency, be sent to a distance by letter, can be mailed to me from all parts of the Cape with comparative safety, thereby, saving the expense of money orders, &c. Deeming this a convenience to a larger portion of our community, I solicit your subscriptions.

TO PATRONS AND CORRESPONDENTS.

Once more we have the pleasure of offering to you our little annual, now in its eighty-seventh year. Times have changed since 1793. But some things have not changed. Honor and right are not yet obsolete, and must still govern our conduct, public and private. So shall our nation be truly great.

The P. O. Regulations, Tide Table, Tables of Courts, and other tables, will be found in their usual places. Our friends will oblige us by notifying the publishers of any error they may discover.

With thanks for your continued favor, we close in the words of the founder of this Almanack:
