XOXOXOXOXOXOXOX

TO PATRONS AND CORRESPONDENTS. Once more we have the pleasure of offering to you our little annual, now in its eighty-seventh year. Times have changed since 1793. But some things have not changed. Honor and right are not yet obsolete, and must still govern our conduct, public and private. So shall our nation be truly great.

The P. O. Regulations, Tide Table, Tables of Courts, and other tables, will be found in their usual places. Our friends will oblige us by notifying the publishers of any error they may discover.

With thanks for your continued favor, we close in the words of the founder of this Almanack:

“ It is by our works, and not by our words, we would be judged: these, we hope, will sustain in the

humble though proud station we have so long held.

Aao Phomas."
