We have again the pleasure of appearing before you with our little annual, and of wishing you all health and happiness. They are not far to seek, if we go to work the right way. In these hard times, let us have recourse to the homely virtues that have made New England what she is; let us practise industry and economy, and we need not fear for the result.

With thanks to our correspondents and patrons for past favors, we would close with the words of the founder of this Almanack:
