SOME farmers who sowed oats last year, just as soon as the land was fit, cut them for hay just as they were heading out the last of June, turned over the stubble, and sowed Hungarian grass, with a dressing of guano or other fertilizer, cured a Fine heavy crop of hay from it fortytwo days after seeding, ploughed and harrowed and sowed turnip seed with a light dressing the first week in August, and picked up a heavy crop of turnips in November.
