Endeth his sermon. CHAP. VIII. Centurion's servant.

you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

i 24¶ Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

5 ¶ And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a cen

m16 When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed 27 But the men marvelled, with devils: and he cast out saying, What manner of man the spirits with his word, is this, that even the winds and healed all that were sick: and the sea obey him!

there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.

c21 And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.

d 22 But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.

f23¶ And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him.

24 And, behold, there arose

t 29 And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time? f30 And there was a good way off from them an herd of many swine feeding.

31 So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine. m32 And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.

The issue of blood healed, &c. things unto them, behold, unto them, Believe ye that I there came a certain ruler, am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.

f20 And, behold, a woman, 31 But they, when they which was diseased with an were departed,spread abroad issue of blood twelve years, his fame in all that councame behind him, and touch-try. ed the hem of his garment: c 21 For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.

f32¶ As they went out, behold, they brought to him a dumb man possessed with a devil.

m22 But Jesus turned him m33 And when the devil was about, and when he saw her, cast out, the dumb spake: he said, Daughter, be of good and the multitudes marvelcomfort; thy faith hath made led, saying, It was never so thee whole. And the woman seen in Israel. was made whole from that hour.

23 And when Jesus came into the ruler's house, and saw the minstrels and the people making a noise,

24 He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn.

m25 But when the people were put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand, and the maid arose.

cast out devils: freely yed 19 But when they deliver have received, freely give.

9 Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses,

you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.

10 Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, nei- 20 For it is not ye that ther shoes, nor yet staves: speak, but the Spirit of your for the workman is worthy Father which speaketh in of his meat.
