8. The hamlet of Mile End New Town. 9. The parish of St. Mary Stratford, Bow. 10. The parish of Bromley St. Leonard. 11. The parish of All Saints, Poplar. 12. The parish of St. Anne.

13. The hamlet of Radcliffe.

14. The parish of St. Paul, Shadwell.

15. That part of the parish of St. George which

lies in Middlesex.

16. The parish of St. John of Wapping.

17. The liberty of East Smithfield.

18. The precinct of St. Katharine. 19. The parish of Tottenham.

20. The parish of St. Luke.

21. The liberty of Glasshouse Yard. 22. The parish of Stoke Newington.

Boundaries of the District.

Bounded on the north by the parish of Edmonton; on the east by the river Lea; on the south by the river Thames, the liberty of the Tower of London, and the city of London; and on the west by the parishes of St. Sepulchre, Clerkenwell, Islington, Hornsey, and Friern Barnet.
