25 And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him. 26 But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man. 27 And as he talked with him, he went in, and found many that were come together. 28 And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of an other nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean. 29 Therefore came I unto you without gainsaying, as soon as I was sent for: I ask therefore for what intent ye have sent for me? 30 And Cornelius said, Four days 人 ago I was fasting until this hour; 敬了 作 11 以 對流 他就 我 們 迎 接 聽說 見 你 你 們 就 太 脚 光 and at the ninth hour I prayed in 主、你住服、水、人 my house, and, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing, 31 And said, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God. 32 Send therefore to Joppa, and call hither Simon, whose surname is Peter; he is lodged in the house of one Simon a tanner by the sea side: who, when he cometh, shall speak|傳 unto thee. 33 Immediately therefore I sent to thee ; and thou hast well done that thou art come. Now therefore are we all here present before God, to hear all things that are commanded thee of God. 34 ¶ Then Peter opened his mouth, 彼得一進去哥尼流就迎接他俯伏在他脚前拜他 敬畏主行義的人都為主所喜悅耶穌基督是萬人的主或作萬有的主 神託他傳和平的福音賜道與以色列人 邦人親近來往是不合律的但 神已經指示我無論甚麼人都不可看 『拉他起來說你起來我也是人彼得和他說著話進到裏面看見許 and said, Of a truth I perceive that 以貌 God is no respecter of persons: 35 But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteous ness, is accepted with him. 36 The word which God sent unto the children of Israel,preaching peace by Jesus Christ : (he is Lord of all:) 色取 切邊 我問來 皮面 匠 西西對 家說 37 That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached; 38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. 39 And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree: 40 Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly; 41 Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead. 42 And he commanded us to preach unto the people and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead. 43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins. 44 T While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. 45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. 46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, 47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? 48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. AND the apostles and brethren that were in Judea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God. 2 And when Peter was come up to Jerusalem, they that were of the circumcision contended with him, 3 Saying, Thou wentest in to men uncircumcised, and didst eat with them. ^ 4 But Peter rehearsed the matter from the beginning, and expounded it by order unto them, saying, 5 I was in the city of Joppa pray ing: and in a trance I saw a vision, A certain vessel descend, as it had been a great sheet, let down from heaven by four corners; and it came even to me: 6 Upon the which when I had fastened mine eyes, I considered, and saw fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. 7 And I heard a voice saying unto me, Arise, Peter; slay and eat. 8 But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean hath at any time entered into my mouth. 9 But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common. 10 And this was done three times: 人 我 差 們 來 說 見 我 我 看 的 在他 我 屋 去 and all were drawn up again into heaven. 11 And, behold, immediately there were three men already come unto the house where I was, sent from Cesarea unto me. 12 And the Spirit bade me go with them, nothing doubting. Moreover these six brethren accompanied me, and we entered into the man's house: 13 And he shewed us how he had seen an angel in his house, which stood and said unto him, Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is Peter; 對不 ·上又對我說 神所潔淨的你不可看爲粗俗這樣有三次後來就都收回天上去了正常那時有三個人站在我所住的房 鳥我又聽見有聲音對我說彼得起來宰了吃我說主阿斷乎不可凡粗俗不潔淨的物從來沒有入過我的口那聲音從天 物降下形狀如同一疋大布繫著四角從天縋下落到我面前我注目觀看內中有地上四足的牲畜野獸昆蟲和天上的雀 的人家裏和他們一同吃飯了彼得就開口將這事挨次告訴他們說我在約帕城裏祈禱的時候魂遊象外看見異象有一 異邦人也信奉 神的道使徒和在猶太的衆弟兄都聽見了彼得回到耶路撒冷奉割禮的門徒責備他說你進未受割禮 人的家裏那人告訴我們說我看見一位天使站在 那 稱 呼 得 的 同 門去 0+1. 沒的 野遊 我獸、象 昆外 來。我在口。蟲、看 們得 說回 我到 們我那和見進 都所聲天 未 進住上受 了的從的有割 那房天雀 第十一章 奉撒 17 Forasmuch then as God gave 人、就 them the like gift as he did unto us, 足道 who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, what was I, that I could withstand God? 的拿 被巴 18 When they heard these things, 聖往音 they held their peace, and glorified God, saying,Then hath God also 感提說 to the Gentiles granted repentance 動、阿 unto life. 21 And the hand of the Lord was 有 此 裏 有看 了、的 我們、臨 知賜 撒冷的教會聽見這信息就遣巴拿巴往安提阿去他到了那裏看見那裏的人受了 祂的恩賜就甚歡喜歡衆人堅心事 利奈人到了安提阿宣傳主耶穌的福音與說希利尼話的猶太人聽主施大能保佑他們信道歸主的人數就多了在耶路 提反遇難之後那些遭逼迫四散的門徒徧行各處到了腓尼基居比路安提阿只講道與猶太人聽內中有居北路人古 竟敢攔阻 神呢衆人聽見這話就不言語了只讚美 神說現在我們知道 神也賜恩與異邦人使他們悔改得永生了 話說約翰是用水施洗將來你們必受聖靈的洗 神既賜恩與他們和賜恩與我們這些信主耶穌基督的人一樣我是誰 他要將能使你和你全家得救的道講與你聽我剛開講聖靈就降臨感動他們像當初降臨感動我們一樣我就想起主的 奉主這巴拿巴是一個好人足足 了。雞, 歸服了主 with them: and a great number | 主。 believed, and turned unto the Lord. 22 『 Then tidings of these things came unto the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem: and they sent forth Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch. 23 Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord. 24 For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord. 賜、歸 就主 的 喜、数 + 的中 他 大 起 們 饑 首,他 就荒、 那 往 這時 樣話有 第十二章 的力量捐資送到猶太賙濟那裏的弟兄他們就這樣行將捐資託巴拿巴掃羅送往猶太的衆長老那裏去。 中站起來受了聖靈的感動說天下將有大饑荒這話到革老丟該撒的時候果然應驗了於是門徒立定主意各人照各人 基利斯低亞尼 猶言基督門徒 是從安提阿起首那時有幾個先知從耶路撒冷來到安提阿內中有一人名蚪亞伽布在教會 巴拿巴又往大數去尋訪掃羅尋見他就領他往安提阿去他們二人有一年的工夫同在教會中教訓了許多人門徒稱為 行、到悲 將 捐老 資丟 匯人 切律 爲他祈禱 祂 彼得就收在監裏交付十六個兵丁看守要等到逾越節後提他出來隨著百姓的意思辦 那時希律王下手苦害敎中幾個八斬了約翰的兄弟雅各他見猶太人喜歡這事又拿了彼得那時正是除酵節希律拿了 被囚在監教中心切切的 的了 25 Then departed Barnabas to Tarsus, for to seek Saul: 26 And when he had found him,新 he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Chris tians first in Antioch. 27 | And in these days came prophets from Jerusalem unto Antioch. 28 And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Cesar. 29 Then the disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send relief unto the brethren which dwelt in Judea: 30 Which also they did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul. TOW CHAPTER XII. Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church. 2 And he killed James the brother of John with the sword. 3 And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.) 4 And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people. 5 Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him. |
