John-Hay Forbes, Lord Medwyn, a Lord of Session and Justiciary in Scotland, b. 27 July 1810, by whom he had issue,

The gallant SIR RALPH ABERCROMBY, great-grandfather of the present Peer, was b. in 1734, and d. of the wounds he received whilst commanding at the battle of Alexandria, 28 March 1801, having m. 17 Nov. 1767, MARY-ANNE, daughter of John Menzies, Esq., of Fernton, Co. Perth, who was b. in 1747, created a Peeress 28 May 1801, and d. 11 Feb. 1821. They had issue,

1 GEORGE, SECOND LORD, b. 14 Oct. 1770, succeeded his mother, MaryAnne, 1st Baroness, 11 Feb. 1821, and d. 14 Feb. 1843; having m. 25 Jan. 1799, the Hon. Montagu Dundas, 3rd daughter of Henry, 1st Viscount Melville, by whom, who was b. 30 April 1772, and died March 1837, he left issue,
