AN ACT to excise portion of Reserve A 7123, and to enable such portion to be acquired by the State Savings Bank, and for other relative purposes.

E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1. This Act may be cited as the Permanent Reserve (A 7123) Act, 1927.

2. That portion of Reserve A▲ 7123, containing about one rood and six perches, as described in the Schedule hereto (hereinafter referred to as the said land) is hereby excised from the said reserve, and may be acquired by purchase by the State Savings Bank for the erection of buildings for use by the said Bank and its tenants; and the provisions of Part IV. of the Land Act, 1898, whereby town land is required to be sold by public auction, shall not apply.

3. The price of the said land with the improvements thereon shall be Forty thousand pounds, to be paid by the State Savings Bank to the Department of Lands and Surveys.

4. For the purposes of this Act, and of the State Savings a body corporate. Bank Act, 1906, the Treasurer shall, by the name of the State Savings Bank of Western Australia, be a body corporate with perpetual succession and an official seal, and by that name may acquire, hold, transfer, and lease land.

THE SCHEDULE.

All that parcel of land, containing about 1 rood 6 perches, bounded by lines starting from the western corner of Perth Town Lot B17, and extending 111° 47' about 206 links along the south-western boundary of the said lot and its production; thence 201° 47′ about 101.5 links; thence 291° 47′ about 53 3 links; thence 201° 47′ about 41.9 links; thence 291° 47′ 27.3 links; thence 201° 47′ about 11.1 links; thence 291° 47′ about 125-2 links to the south-eastern alignment of Barrack Street; thence along the said alignment 21° 47′ about 154 links to the starting point.

AN ACT to amend the Trustees Act, 1900.

BE it en with the advice and consent of the Legislative

E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by

Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1. This Act may be cited as the Trustees Act Amendment Act, 1927, and shall be read as one with the Trustees Act, 1900, hereinafter referred to as the principal Act.

2. A subsection is hereby added to section forty-five of the principal Act as follows:

(4) Subject to the proviso to the last preceding subsection, and to section seventeen of the Administration Act, 1903, an order may be made under this section on the application of an executor to whom probate has been granted, or the administrator of the estate of a deceased person; and in such case where reference is made in this section to the trust estate, it shall extend and apply to the estate of the testator or intestate, nothwithstanding that such estate may not have been cleared by the payment of debts.

2. Section fifty-four of the Bills of Sale Act, 1899, is Amendment of sec. hereby amended by adding at the end thereof the following words:

Act No. 31 of

AN ACT to continue the operation of Section forty-one of the Forests Act, 1918, as amended by the Forests Act Amendment Act, 1924, and to amend the proviso to subsection three thereof.

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by

and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1. This Act may be cited as the Forests Act Amendment Act, 1927, and shall be read as one with the Forests Act, 1918, hereinafter referred to as the principal Act.

2. The proviso to subsection three of section forty-one of the principal Act (inserted by section two of the Act No. 31 of 1924) is hereby amended by deleting the words re-growth of sandalwood" and inserting in place thereof improvement and reforestation of sandalwood reserves, and the development of the sandalwood industry."

3. Section forty-one of the principal Act shall, as from the first day of July one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, continue in force as amended by the Forests Act Amendment Act, 1924, and this Act, until the thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, and no longer.
