Duchy of Lancaster, Somerset-Place, Feb. 11, 1819.

His Royal Highness the Prince Regent, in the name and on the behalf of His Majesty, has been this day pleased to appoint John Walmsley, of Castlemeer, Esq. Sheriff of the county palatine of Lancaster, for the year ensuing.

PRINCE OF WALES'S COUNCIL.

At a Council of His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales, held at the Pavilion at Brighton, on the 27th day of January 1819, Joseph Sawle Sawle, of Penrice, in the county of Cornwall, Esq. was appointed Sheriff of the said county of Cornwall for the present year, by His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales, in Council.

1819.

Lord Chamberlain's-Office, February 20, 1819. ORDERS for the Court's going into mourning, on to-morrow the 21st instant, for Her late Majesty the Queen Maria Louisa, Mother of His Catholic Majesty Ferdinand the Seventh, viz.

The Ladies to wear black silk, fringed or plain linen, white gloves, necklaces and ear-rings, black or white shoes, fans and tippets.

Undress--White or grey lustrings, tabbies or

damasks.

The Gentlemen to wear black, full trimmed, fringed or plain linen, black swords and buckles. Undress-Grey frocks.

The Court to change the mourning on Sunday the 28th instant, viz.

The Ladies to wear black silk or velvet, coloured ribbons, fans and tippets, or plain white, or whiteand gold, or white and silver stuffs, with black ribbons.

The Gentlemen to wear black coats, and black or plain white, or white and gold, or white and silver stuff waistcoats, full trimmed, coloured swords and buckles.

And on Thursday the 4th March next, the Court to go out of mourning.
