the intent that they may return into the way of righteousness; Grant unto all them that are admitted into the fellowship of Christ's Religion, that they may eschew those things that are contrary to their profession, and follow all such things as are agreeable to the same. Have mercy upon all Jews, Turks, Infidels, and Heretics, and take from them all ignorance, hardness of heart, and contempt of thy Word; and so fetch them home, blessed Lord, to thy flock, that they may be saved among the remnant of the true Israelites, and be made one fold under one shepherd, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

A

LMIGHTY and everlasting God, giver

of all good things, who by thy Holy Spirit hast appointed divers orders of Ministers in thy Church; Send down upon our Bishops, and Curates, and all Congregations committed to their charge, the healthful Spirit of thy grace; and that they may truly please thee, pour upon them the continual dew of thy blessing. Grant that the Pastors of thy flock being endued with excellent gifts, and diligently preaching thy Holy Word, we, thy people, may in an

honest and good heart receive it, and stedfastly walk in the way that leadeth to everlasting life, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

LMIGHTY God, the fountain of all

wisdom, who knowest our necessities before we ask, and our ignorance in asking; We beseech thee to have compassion upon our infirmities; and those things which for our unworthiness we dare not, and for our blindness we cannot ask, vouchsafe to give us, for the worthiness of thy Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

A

LMIGHTY God, who hast promised to

hear the petitions of them that ask in thy Son's Name; We beseech thee mercifully to incline thine ears to us that have made this day our prayers and supplications unto thee; and grant that those things which we have faithfully asked according to thy will, may effectually be obtained, to the relief of our necessity, and to the setting forth of thy glory; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

MONDAY MORNING.

I laid me down and slept, and rose up again: for the Lord sustained me.

THO

PSALM 65.

HOU, O God, art praised in Sion: and unto thee shall the vow be performed in Jerusalem.

2 Thou that hearest the prayer: unto thee shall all flesh come.

3 My misdeeds prevail against me: O be thou merciful unto our sins.

4 Blessed is the man, whom thou choosest, and receivest unto thee: he shall dwell in thy court, and shall be satisfied with the pleasures of thy house, even of thy holy temple.

5 Thou shalt show us wonderful things in thy righteousness, O God of our salvation; thou that art the hope of all the ends of the earth, and of them that remain in the broad sea.

6 Who in his strength setteth fast the mountains; and is girded about with power. 7 Who stilleth the raging of the sea and

the noise of his waves, and the madness of the people.

8 They also that dwell in the uttermost parts of the earth shall be afraid at thy tokens: thou that makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to praise thee.

9 Thou visitest the earth, and blessest it: thou makest it very plenteous.

11 Thou waterest her furrows, thou sendest rain into the little valleys thereof: thou makest it soft with the drops of rain, and blessest the increase of it.

12. Thou crownest the year with thy goodness and thy clouds drop fatness.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son: and to the Holy Ghost:

As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be: world without end.

O

Let us pray.

Amen.

LORD our heavenly Father, Almighty and everlasting God, who hast safely brought us to the beginning of this day; Defend us in the same with thy mighty power; and grant that this day we fall into

no sin, neither run into any kind of danger; but that all our doings may be ordered by thy governance, to do always that is righteous in thy sight, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

ND since it is of thy mercy, O gracious

Father, that another day is added to our lives, we offer and present unto thee, ourselves, our souls and bodies, to be a reasonable, holy, and lively sacrifice unto thee; humbly beseeching thee to accept this our sincere, though unworthy oblation of ourselves, and to give us grace to bring our holy resolutions to good effect, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

ALMIGHTY God, unto whom all hearts
