The place of meeting of the Twenty-ninth Annual Convention of the Church in the Diocese of Indiana, having been changed by the Bishop from Fort Wayne, as appointed at the last Convention, to Terre Haute, the Assistant Bishop and a number of the Clergy and Lay Delegates assembled in St. Stephen's Church, at half past ten o'clock, A. M. Morning Prayer, to the Psalter, was read by Rev. L. W. Russ; the eighth selection of Psalms was read by Rev. S. D. Pulford, and the Lessons by Rev. J. E. Jackson; the Prayers were read by Rev. Messrs. Reeves and Spalding. The Convention Sermon was preached by Rev. J. P. T. Ingraham, Rector of Christ Church, Indianapolis, from St. Mark, xvi, 15. After Divine Service, and the administration of the Holy Communion by the Assistant Bishop, assisted in the distribution of the elements by the Rector of the Parish, and Rev. Messrs. Spald |
