HIGHWAY ACTS, 1862 & 1864,

AND OF

THE HIGHWAYS AND LOCOMOTIVES

(AMENDMENT) ACT, 1878,

SO FAR AS IT RELATES TO HIGHWAYS.

In this Abstract the following abbreviated expressions have been used, viz. :

,

. Act ’62, means “The Highway Act, 1862.” (25 & 26 Vict. c. 61.)

Act ’64, means “The Highway Act, 1864.” (27 & 28 Vict. c. 101.)

Act '78, means “The Highways and Locomotives (Amendment) Act, 1878.(41 & 42 Vict. c. 77.)
