"Mr. Knight, of 'Change-alley, Cornhill, has published a neat manual on Knitting, Crochet, and Netting,' which our fair readers may thank us for calling their attention to. It is by a French lady, and displays all the ingenuity and system for which her nation is celebrated in elegant manufactures by the hand. Knitting of all kinds, as chains, shawls, caps, mats, d'oyleys, table covers, children's clothes, &c., is here illustrated in all varieties of shapes. The directions are concise, but possibly some degree of proficiency is to be assumed.". Morning Post.
