1st round.—5 chain, miss 1, 1 plain; repeat to the end of the foundation chain, then turn the work so as to crochet on the other side of the chain; work 5 chain, miss 1, 1 plain as before, working the plain stitch in the same plain stitch as the one on the other side; repeat to the end.
