THURSDAY, MAY, 17TH.-Morning, attended prayers in Chapel of Howe Grammar School and addressed the boys; evening, in St. Thomas's Church, Plymouth, preached, confirmed seven and addresed them.

FRIDAY, MAY 18TH.-Visited Rochester; evening, held service in German church, preached, confirmed three persons and addressed them.

WHITSUNDAY, MAY 20TH.-Visited St. Paul's Church, Evansville; 9:30 A. M., catechised and addressed the Sunday-school; 10:30 A. M., preached, confirmed twenty-two, and addressed them; made an appeal for Diocesan Missions, and celebrated Holy Communion; 3 P. M., visited Chapel of the Good Shepherd and catechised the Sunday-school; 5 P. M., confirmed one person in private in parish of Holy Innocents'; 7 P. M., baptized infant son of the Rector; 7:30 P. M., in Church of Holy Innocents', preached, confirmed six persons, and addressed them.

MONDAY, MAY 21ST.-Visited New Harmony; evening, in St. Stephen's Church, preached, confirmed five, and addressed them.

TUESDAY, MAY 22D.-Visited Mount Vernon; evening, in Jewish Synagogue, preached, confirmed three persons, and addressed them.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 23D.-Went to Vincennes; afternoon, visited St. John's Mission School, catechised the pupils, and received four to the Roll of Honor; confirmed a sick person in private; evening, in St. James's Church, Vincennes, preached, confirmed nineteen, and addressed them.

FRIDAY, MAY, 25TH.-Morning, confirmed a sick person of Holy Innocents' parish in private; afternoon, baptized a child at Episcopal residence; evening, in Grace Church, Muncie, preached, confirmed nine persons and addressed them; licensed John W. Nutt, lay reader in Grace Church, Muncie.

SATURDAY, MAY 26TH.-Visited the mission at Knightstown, preached, confirmed one person and made an address.

TRINITY SUNDAY, MAY 27TH.-Morning, in Grace Church, Indianapolis, preached, confirmed seven and addressed them, advanced Rev. W. G. Woolford, Deacon, to the Priesthood and celebrated Holy Communion;

afternoon, in St. Paul's Church, confirmed a class of seven and addressed them; conducted service at meeting of Sunday schools, addressed the con. gregation and catechised the children; evening, held benediction service of St. Philip's Mission Chapel for colored people, said evening prayer and made an address.

MONDAY, MAY 28TH.-Morning, presided at meeting of Trustees of the Diocese; issued lay reader's license to Lee M. Perry, of Holy Innocents' parish, Indianapolis.

TUESDAY, MAY 29TH.—Visited Anderson; evening, 6:45, celebrated Holy Communion; 7: 30, preached, and confirmed one person; addressed the congregation.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 30TH.—In St. Paul's Church, New Albany; preached, confirmed eleven, and addressed them; baptized five adults and three infants.

THURSDAY, MAY 31ST.-Visited Bloomington to confer with wardens in regard to building new church.

FIRST SUNDAY AFTER TRINITY, JUNE 3D.—Morning, in Christ Church, Indianapolis, instituted Rev. J. H. Ranger into the Rectorship of Christ Church, Indianapolis, and preached; afternoon, visited All Saints' Mission, Brightwood, held benediction service of the church, preached, confirmed three persons, and addressed them.

The Rev. John J. Faude, in behalf of the American Church. Building Fund Commission, presented briefly its claims, after which the offerings of the congregation were received for that fund.

The Bishop then called the Convention to order, and the Secretary called the roll of the clergy, and a quorum was found in that order.

The Secretary then called the roll of lay delegates, and a constitutional number to constitute a quorum responded to their names.

On motion, the ballot was, by unanimous consent, dispensed with, and the Rev. Willis D. Engle was re-elected Secretary.

The Bishop then announced the appointment of the following standing committees:

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 6, 1888.

The Convention re-assembled after morning prayer and litany, said by the Rev. Hubert E. Jephson, and the Rev. Sherwood Rosevelt.

The Holy Communion was celebrated by the Bishop, assisted by the Rev. Dr. Bradley, Rev. J. H. Ranger, and Rev. D. B. Ramsey.

The Bishop then called the Convention to order.

The Secretary called the roll, and read the minutes of yesterday's session, which were, on motion, approved.

Mr. Isaac H. Kiersted submitted the following, which was approved :

Mr. Charles A. Sudlow submitted the following, which was referred to the Committee on the State of the Church:

The Board of Trustees of the Diocese of Indiana submits to the Convention of 1888, the following report for the previous year:

The Board of Trustees elected at the last Convention was organized by electing L. B. Martin, Treasurer, and Chas. A. Sudlow, Secretary.

Mr. R. M. Wylie, of Trinity Church, Bloomington, made two reports during the year, showing receipts to be $187.70, and expenditures, including amount paid in cash to the Treasurer, of like amount.

Mr. John Sanderson, of St. Luke's Church, Cannelton, made two reports; total receipts amounting to $270.00, with credits for like amount, including cash turned over to the Treasurer.

Sundry allowances were made by the Board of Trustees for needed repairs on the school property of the Diocese, corner of St. Joseph and Pennsylvania streets, as well as for fencing the Episcopal residence and making water, sewerage and natural gas connections therewith.

The rent of $360.00 per annum accruing to the Diocese from the school property on the corner of St. Joseph and Pennsylvania streets, was authorized by the Board to be paid to the Bishop, to be appropriated by him in payment of free scholarships for six girls to the Diocesan School, nominations for said scholarship to be at the disposal of the Bishop.

SALES OF PROPERTY.

Lot No. 55, in W. H. Morrison's Second Subdivision, sold to Mr. Stevenson, being 40 feet, at $60.00 per foot; total, $2,400.00; deferred pay. ments being protected by mortgages and notes at 6 per cent., payable semi-annually.

Lot No. 58, in W. H. Merrison's Second Subdivision, to Rev. George E. Swan, 40 feet, at $65.00 per foot; total, $2,600.00; deferred payments secured in same manner as previous sale.

Lots No. 56 and 57, in W. H. Morrison's Second Subdivision; 80 feet, at $65.00 per foot; total, $5,200.00, to W. W. Winslow; deferred payments and interest secured in like manner as previous sales.

Sale of inlot No. 263, in the City of Bloomington, Monroe county, Indiana, for the sum of $1,800.00, the intention being to use same in pur chase of lot and erection of a new church building.

PURCHASES AND TRANSFER OF PROPERTY TO THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES.

The purchase of inlot No. 112, in the City of Bloomington, Monroe county, Ind., for the sum of $375.00, being a site for a new church to be located thereon.

Purchase of the north half of lot No. 2, in Block 4, in Connor's Addition to Marion, Indiana, at a cost of $1,000.00, being the site of Gethsemane Church.

Received lot "1" Block 5, in the Town of Wilkinson, on which St. Mary's Church has been completed last year; valuation thereof, $1,000.00. Purchase of lots Nos. 3 and 4, Block 135, in Brightwood, for All Saints' Mission; valuation thereof, $1,500.00.

A bond for a deed is also held for lot No. 1, in Block 8, Kennard City, Henry county, Indiana, upon which St. Philip's Church has been erected; value thereof, $1,000.00.
