NOVEMBER 19TH.-Spent in examination of Rev. Mr. Hynes.

SUNDAY NEXT BEFORE ADVENT, NOVEMBER 20th.-9:30 A. M. addressed the Sunday School of St. Paul's parish in the chapel; 10:30 in St. Paul's Church, confirmed a class of seven and addressed them; advanced Rev. J. T. L. Hynes to the priesthood; addressed the congregation in regard to the endowment of the Diocese, and celebrated Holy Communion; 3 P. M. visited Sunday Scoool of Holy Innocents' Parish, catechised and addressed the children; evening in Church of the Holy Innocents, confirmed two, addressed them, and addressed the congregation.

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 21ST-Visited St. Stephen's Mission, New Harmony. Evening, in St. Stephen's Church, preached and baptized five persons.

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 22D.-Visited Mt. Vernon; evening, preached and made an address; here there is a small but devoted band of workers.

THANKSGIVING DAY, NOVEMBER 24TH.-Took part in united services of Indianapolis parishes at Grace Church.

ADVENT SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 27TH.-Visited Trinity Church, Michigan City; 8 A. M., celebrated Holy Communion; 10:30 A. M., preached; 2 P. M., catechised and addressed the Sunday-school; addressed also, the Young Ladies' Church History Class, the St. Andrew's Brotherhood and Bible Class; evening, confirmed a class of seven, addressed them, and addressed the congregation on the missionary work of the Diocese, and also on Endowment.

MONDAY, NOVEmber 28th.—Morning, visited the parish school, heard recitations and examined classes.

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 29TH.-Morning, attended opening exercises of Barker Hall; evening, in St. Paul's Church, Laporte, preached; confirmed seven, and addressed them; addressed the congregation on the Endowment of the Diocese; it being the eve of St. Andrew's Day, intercession was made in behalf of missions.

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 30TH.-St. Andrew's Day; visited St. James's Church, South Bend; evening, held service, baptized two children, confirmed two persons, and preached.

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 1ST.-In St. James's Church, 10 A. M., celebrated Holy Communion and made an address; afternoon, went to Mishawaka; evening, held service in St. Paul's Church, preached and made a missionary address.

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 2D.-Visited Bristol; evening, in St. John's Church, preached, confirmed one person, and received a class of five girls to the Roll of Honor.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 3D.-10 A. M., celebrated Holy Communion in St. John's Church; afternoon, went to Goshen; evening, held conference with

vestry of St. James's Church; appointed Mrs. Dr. Latta Vice-President of the Woman's Auxiliary, Northern Convocation.

SECOND SUNDAY IN ADVENT, DECEMBER 4TH.-In St. James's Church, Goshen, said ante-Communion service, preached, and celebrated Holy Communion, also made an address on parochial obligations; afternoon, went to Elkhart; evening, in St. John's Church, preached, confirmed three persons and addressed them, also made a brief address to the congregation.

MONDAY, DECEMBER 5TH.-Celebrated Holy Communion, 10 A. M., in St. John's Church; went to Lima, evening in St. Mark's Church, preached, confirmed four persons and addressed them, also addressed the congregation.

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 6TH.-Morning, attended service in Chapel of Howe Grammar School; visited Albion, 4 P. M., in hall of St. Matthias's Mission, catechised the Sunday-school; evening, preached to a large congregation and attended a reception after service.

WEDNESDAY, December 7th.-Went to Garrett, 4 P. M., met the children of the Sunday-school in the church and catechised them; evening, in Emmanuel Church, preached, confirmed seven and addressed them, congratulated the congregation on their wonderful progress the past year.

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 8TH.-Morning, went to Auburn, held service in the church occupied by the mission, made an address and celebrated Holy Communion; afternoon, went to Warsaw; evening, held service in St. Andrew's Church and preached.

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 9TH.-Went to Columbia City, 2:30 P. M., in the parlor of Judge Collins' residence, baptized two children and one adult, made an address and celebrated Holy Communion; the Lutheran minister was among the communicants.

THIRD SUNDAY IN ADVENT, DECEMBER 11TH.-Spent at Peru, 10:30 A. M., held service, preached and celebrated Holy Communion in Trinity Church; 2 P. M., catechised the Sunday-school; 7 P. M., said Evening Prayer and made an address on Church work in the Diocese.

MONDAY, DECEMBER 12TH.-Issued letter dimissory to Rev. R. C. Talbott to Diocese of Nebraska.

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 13TH.-Received acceptance of letter dimissory of Rev. W. W. Raymond, from Bishop of Milwaukee; visited St. James's Mission, New Castle; evening, in St. James's Church, preached, confirmed five persons and addressed them.

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 14TH.-Went to Delphi; evening, in St. Mary's Church, baptized an infant and preached.

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 15TH.-Went to Frankfort; afternoon, baptized one adult and one infant; evening, in St. Luke's Church, preached, confirmed three and addressed them.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 17TH.-Confirmed a sick person in private, for Dr. Bradley, Rector Christ Church, Indianapolis; received notice from Bishop of Nebraska of acceptance of letter dimissory of Rev. R. C. Talbott; went to Glendale, Ohio; evening, examined candidate for Deacon's Orders.

FOURTH SUNDAY IN ADVENT, DECEMBER 18TH.-10:30 A. M., in Christ Church, Glendale; preached, ordained Frank P. Lutz to the Diaconate, and celebrated Holy Communion; afternoon, in same church, preached, confirmed five and addressed them; evening, in St. Philip's Church, Cumminsville, preached, confirmed eight and addressed them.

MONDAY, DECEMBER 19TH-Evening, in Grace Church, College Hill, preached, confirmed five and addressed them.

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 20TH.-10:30 A. M., in St. Paul's Church, Cincinnati; preached, advanced Rev. C. S. Sargent and Rev. Claude A. Quirrell, Deacons, to the Priesthood and celebrated Holy Communion.

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 21st.—St. Thomas's Day; visited Church of the Good Shepherd, Columbus, Ohio; preached, confirmed sixteen persons and addressed them.

CHRISTMAS DAY, DECEMBER 25TH.-Morning, in Grace Church, Indianapolis; preached and celebrated Holy Communion; 3 P. M., catechised the Sunday-school and received four girls to the Roll of Honor; evening, preached in Church of the Holy Innocents'.

MONDAY, DECEMBER 26TH.-Evening, addressed the children of St. Paul's and Christ Church Sunday-schools at their Christmas festivals.

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 27TH.-Evening, conducted the service for children; Sunday-school festival in Grace Church, distributed gifts and catechised

the school.

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 28TH.-Evening, attended Christmas tree celebration of Holy Innocents' Sunday-school, catechised and addressed the

children.

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 29TH.-Visited Shelbyville; used visitation office at bedside of a clergyman of the Church; evening in Methodist church, said service, baptized an infant and preached.

FEAST OF THE CIRCUMCISION, JANUARY 1ST, 1888.-Morning in Christ Church, Indianapolis, preached and celebrated Holy Communion; evening, preached in St. George's Mission Chapel.

EPIPHANY, JANUARY 6TH.-Morning, in Grace Church, preached and celebrated Holy Communion.

FIRST SUNDAY AFTER EPIPHANY, JANUARY 8TH.-In St. John's Church, Lafayette; 10:30 A. M., preached and celebrated Holy Communion; 3 P. M. baptized a child; evening, made an address on Church work in the Diocese.

TUESDAY, JANUARY 10TH.-Evening, attended opening service of Central Convocation in Grace Church, Muncie.

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 11TH.-Celebrated Holy Communion 9 A. M.; presided all day in Convocation; evening, preached a missionary sermon; gave my assent to the election of Dr. Pettis as Dean.

THURSDAY, JANUARY 12TH.-Renewed license of I. H. Kiersted as a lay reader in Christ Church, Indianapolis.

SECOND SUNDAY AFTER EPIPHANY.--In Christ Church, Madison; 10:30 A. M., said ante-Communion service and preached; 2:30 P. M., addressed the Sunday-school, and received six girls to the Roll of Honor; evening, con. firmed one person and made an address of Diocesan Church work.

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 18TH.-Visited St. Paul's Mission, Columbus; evening, preached in St. Paul's Church.

THURSDAY, JANUARY 19TH.-Renewed lay-reader's license of F. E. Marsh, Grace, Indianapolis; Joseph Shaw, Knightstown, B. F. Russell, South Bend, Henry Sanxay and Sidney E. Haigh, Madison, and Charles B. Stilz, Holy Innocents', Indianapolis; visited Kennard; evening, preached and confirmed one person.

FRIDAY, JANUARY 20TH.-Afternoon, used benediction service on first use of St. Mary's Church, Wilkinson, and preached; evening, preached in same church.

THIRD SUNDAY AFTER EPIPHANY, JANUARY 22D.-Visited Gethsemane Mission, Marion; morning, said ante-Communion service and preached; 2:30 P. M., catechised and addressed the Sunday-school; evening, preached.

MONDAY, JANUARY 23D.-Went to Huntington; evening, in Presbyterian church, held service and preached.

TUESDAY, JANUARY 24TH.-Evening, attended opening service of Northern Convocation in St. John's Church, Elkhart, and preached missionary

sermon.

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 25TH.-Festival of the Conversion of St. Paul; morning, celebrated Holy Communion; afternoon, made an address at meeting of Woman's Auxiliary; evening, addressed the congregation.

THURSDAY, JANUARY 26TH.-Renewed lay reader's license of R. R. Parker, Christ Church, Indianapolis; T. P. Randall and John S. Irwin, M. D., Fort Wayne; Edward Olcott, Grace, Muncie. Gave license to W. A. Bray, Michigan City.

FRIDAY, JANUARY 27TH.-Attended funeral and made an address in Grace Church, Indianapolis; went to Knightstown; evening, preached in Presbyterian church.

SEPTUAGESIMA SUNDAY, JANUARY 29TH.-Morning, in St. John's Church, Greencastle, said ante-Communion Service; preached and celebrated Holy Communion; evening, in Christ Church, Indianapolis, confirmed twenty-eight persons and addressed them; two were deaf mutes.

MONDAY, JANUARY 30TH.-Renewed lay reader's license of G. W. Cobb and Louis Howland, Christ Church, Indianapolis, and Charles R. Seibert, St. John's Church, Bristol.

TUESDAY, JANUARY 31ST.—Evening, attended opening service of Retreat for the Clergy, conducted by Rev. Dr. Grafton, of Boston, in Grace Church, Indianapolis.

SEXAGESIMA SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 5TH.-In Calvary Church, Clifton, Ohio, 10 A. M., addressed the Sunday-school; 11 A. M., confirmed two persons; addressed them; delivered an address on Church work in Indiana and celebrated Holy Communion; 4 P. M., catechised the children of the parish; evening, in Church of Our Saviour, Mount Auburn, made an address on Church work in Indiana.

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 6TH.-Visited Rushville, Indiana; evening, held service in church occupied by the Mission; preached and made an address.

Tuesday, FebrUARY 7TH.—Afternoon, laid the corner-stone of St. Philip's Mission Chapel, for colored people, in Indianapolis, and made an address.

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 9TH.- -4 P. M., consecrated St. Stephen's Church, Winton Place, Ohio, and preached.

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 10TH.-Evening, in St. John's Church, Crawfordsville, preached, confirmed five persons and addressed them.

QUINQUAGESIMA SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 12TH.-Visited St. Paul's Church, Richmond; 9:30 A. M., catechised the Sunday-school, received seven to the Roll of Honor; 10:30, preached, confirmed five persons, addressed them and celebrated Holy Communion; afternoon, made an address to the congregation; this was the semi-centennial celebration of this parish.

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 14TH.-Received from Standing Committee recommendation of Geo. L. Bell, as a candidate for Deacon's Orders only; renewed license of Judge Bicknell, of New Albany, and Edward N. Fitch, of Jeffersonville, as lay readers.
