CONFECTIONER, 408, HIGH STREET, CHELTENHAM, Had been afflicted for several years with a dry cough, and could derive no benefit from his medical adviser, which induced him to extract several valuable herbs, and blend them with clarified sugar, which he now offers to the Public as a saving remedy for Coughs, Asthma, Colds, &c. One single stick of this valuable Candy will prove the good effects of its quality: it will dissolve congealed phlegm, promote a free expectoration, and allay the irritation and dryness of the throat.
This valuable Candy has been before the Public above ten years, and upwards of 30,000 have been cured since its first introduction. The great success that has attended it, has induced the Proprietor to make it more generally known. It is not offered as a cure for all diseases, but for the complaints above enumerated it may be taken with the certainty of a speedy cure, and at any time when the Cough is troublesome. Take a piece going to bed, and it will ensure a night's repose. Clergymen and Public Speakers will do well to keep this Candy
by them, as it gives instant relief.
SIGNOR ANELLI, More than 30 years in England, and formerly Singing and Spanish Guitar Master to Her Royal Highness the Princess Augusta, to several families of distinction,
and the principal Schools at Bath, Continues to give INSTRUCTION IN SINGING, SPANISH GUITAR, and the ITALIAN and FRENCH LANGUAGES, in his much-approved expedient and effective method, compressed from the Italian manner of Singing, generally admitted to be the best and the only one by which the voice can be properly and advantageously cultivated.
SIG. A. can confidently undertake to learn diligent students to Sing in fifty lessons, with correctness, elegance, expression, and refined taste, a proficiency not to be attained in less than two years' time by the ordinary course in practice; he likewise teaches to Sing and to Play on his favorite instrument, the SPANISH GUITAR, in twenty-four lessons, upon an original plan, which has been found to be the easiest, shortest, and most effective, particularly in accompanying the voice, for which the Guitar is so admirably calculated, and having the advantage over other instruments in being the most graceful, portable, and less expensive.
SIG. A. gives Instruction, in Classes, on the following Terms:-Twelve Lessons, 18s. each Pupil, in Singing. Singing and Guitar, or Italian and French Language together, at the same Lesson, £1. 1s.
