CHAPTER VI. A A ND he went out from thence, and came into hisown country; and his disciples follow him. 2 And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the syna gogue and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands? 3 Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon ? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him. 4 But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house. 5 And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them. 6 And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching. 7 T And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits; 8 And commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, save a staff only; no scrip, no bread, no money in their purse: 9 But be shod with sandals; and not put on two coats. 10 And he said unto them, In what place soever ye enter into a house, there abide till ye depart from that place. 11 And whosoever shall not re ceive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment, than for that city. 子、侯袋、穌的 所 不呌耶麼 多 要 的不 刑 罰、從 比 那們 地的 他 等 聰方 明、來 竟到 我有自 們這 奇這樣 事、裹 麽、能 的那要 按因從 刑裏穿兩手此他跟 罰的 在就手隨 幾厭裏他 候,要出個 個燊出到 易就 病他來了 受 人 呢。 上說 穌叫了十二個門徒來差遣他們兩個兩個的出去賜與他們趕逐邪鬼的權柄吩咐他們不要帶路費只帶拐杖不要帶口 身耶他息 第六章 耶穌離了那地方來到自己家鄉門徒跟隨他到了安息日在會堂裏敢訓人衆人聽見便詫異說" 四猶大西門不是弟 何能這樣呢他所 穌不 必人 施洗的約翰從死裏復活所以能行這些奇事別人說是以利亞還有人說是先知或是像古時的一個先知希律聽見就說 門徒出去傳道勸人悔改又逐出許多的鬼用油抹了許多病人醫好他們Č耶穌的聲名傳揚出來希律王聽見便說這是 我 人、他 敬為所 長妻斬 他、約的 保翰約 利護對 他 翰 死 護對翰、裏 他復 聽律 從 說、死 活 保 的 的此 恨監人 裏 是要 知底 請道的 麽可了約綠律見、 囘向許翰、故、聽便 答我多是見、說 說、、的義律就這 當我大人會說,是 護他聽他的話多照著行並且歡喜聽他的教訓一日恰巧是希律的生日希律擺設筵席請了許多的大 都 子歡 就喜 出王律他 去、對的卻弟 人千夫長並加利利的尊貴人希羅底的女兒進來跳舞希律和同席的人都歡喜王 是聖人敬畏 111 子說你無論要甚麼可向我求我 必賜給你又對他起誓說凡你向我所求的就是我國的一半我必賜給你女子就出去對他母親說我當求甚麽回答說當 fore mighty works do shew forth themselves in him. 15 Others said, That it is Elias. And others said, That it is a prophet, or as one of the prophets. 16 But when Herod heard thereof, he said, It is John, whom I beheaded: he is risen from the dead. 17 For Herod himself had sent forth and laid hold upon John, and bound him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife; for he had married her. 18 For John had said unto Herod, It is not lawful for thee to have thy brother's wife. 19 Therefore Herodias had a quarrel against him, and would have kill ed him; but she could not: 20 For Herod feared John, know ing that he was a just man and a holy, and observed him; and when he heard him, he did many things, and heard him gladly. 21 And when a convenient day was come, that Herod on his birthday made a supper to his lords, high cap tains, and chief estates of Galilee; 22 And when the daughter of the said Herodias came in, and danced, and pleased Herod and them that sat with him, the king said unto the damsel, Ask of me whatsoever thou wilt, and I will give it thee. 23 And hesware unto her, Whatso ever thou shalt ask of me, I will give it thee, unto the half of my kingdom. 24 And she went forth, and said un to her mother, What shall I ask?And she said, The head of John the Baptist. 25 And she came in straightway with haste unto the king, and asked, saying, I will that thou give me by and by in a charger the head John the Baptist. 26 And the king was exceeding sorry; yet for his oath's sake, and for their sakes which sat with him, he would not reject her. 27 And immediately the king sent an executioner, and commanded his head to be brought: and he went and beheaded him in the prison, 28 And brought his head in a charger, and gave it to the damsel; and the damsel gave it to her mother. 29 And when his disciples heard of it, they came and took up his corpse, and laid it in a tomb. 30 And the apostles gathered them selves together unto Jesus, and told him all things, both what they had done, and what they had taught. 31 And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat. 32 And they departed into a desert place by ship privately. 33 And the people saw them depart ing, and many knew him, and ran afoot thither out of all cities, and outwent them, and came together unto. of 穌曠 有的 到往領手 敎 多認得耶穌的從 羊沒有牧養的人一般就將許多 往四面鄉村去買餅因爲他們沒有食物 沙行跑到那裏比他們先到了一齊來見耶穌〇耶穌出來看見衆人憐恤他們因爲他們如同 因爲往來的人多他們連吃飯也沒有工夫就暗暗的坐船到野地去了衆人看見他們去有許 訓他們天將晚的時候門徒來對他說這是野地天將晚了將遣散衆人叫他們 徒穌 暗暗的到曠 給他母親約翰的門徒聽見就來領屍葬在墳墓裏●衆使徒聚集來見耶穌將所作的事所傳的道全告訴他耶穌說你們 O 11 耶裏 他穌 暗將了 說、出 所約 來、坐作翰、 是看船、的將 野見到事、頭 地、衆野所 地傳 們們 羣許們 的盤 1 那裏就不肯推卻立刻吩咐劊子手去將約翰的頭拿來那人就去在監裏斬了約翰將頭放在 女子急忙進來見王求他說請你立刻將施洗約翰的頭放在盤子裏賜給我王甚憂愁無奈已經起誓並且同席的人都在 拿來給女子女子交 the green grass. 40 And they sat down in ranks, by hundreds, and by fifties. 41 And when he had taken the five loaves and the two fishes, he looked up to heaven, and blessed, and brake the loaves, and gave them to his disciples to set before them; and the two fishes divided he among them all. 42 And they did all eat, and were filled. 43 And they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments, and of the fishes. 44 And they that did eat of the loaves were about five thousand men. 45 And straightway he constrained his disciples to get into the ship, and to go to the other side before unto Bethsaida, while he sent away the people. 46 And when he had sentthem away, he departed into a mountain to pray. 47 And when even was come, the ship was in the midst of the sea, and he alone on the land. 48 Andhesaw them toiling in row ing; for the wind was contrary unto them and about the fourth watch of the night he cometh unto them, walking upon the sea, and would have passed by them. 49 But when they saw him walking upon the sea, they supposed it had been a spirit, and cried out: 50 For they all saw him, and were troubled. And immediately he talked with them, and saith unto them, Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid. 驚面 門徒 徒四 著五 就 就耶 驚慌了耶穌 面上行走到門徒這裏來彷彿要過去的樣子門徒看見耶穌在海面上行走以爲是怪 以後往山上去禱告天已晚了船在海中他獨自一人在岸上看見門徒因風不順搖船甚苦夜裏約有四更時分耶穌在海 餅賸魚裝滿了十二筐子吃餅的人約有五千〇耶穌催門徒上船先渡到那邊百賽大去等自己遣散衆人耶穌遣散衆人 耶穌拿著五個餅兩尾魚望著天祝謝了擘開餅遞給門徒叫擺在眾人面前又將兩尾魚分給他們衆人都吃飽了收拾碎 就說有五個餅兩尾魚耶穌吩咐他們叫衆人一排一排的坐在青草地上衆人就坐下有一百在一處的有五十在一處的 耶穌回答說你們給他們吃罷門徒說要我們買二十兩銀子的餅給他們吃麽耶穌說你們有多少餅可去看看能看見了 你們放心是我不要懼怕 五 物、 就著 喊夜 四裏 因爲他們看見他都 都海 55 And ran through that whole region round about, and began to carry about in beds those that were sick, where they heard he was. 56 And whithersoever he entered, into villages, or cities, or country, they laid the sick in the streets, and besought him that they might touch if it were but the border of his gar ment: and as many as touched him were made whole. CHAPTER VII. The Pharisees, and certain of HEN came together unto him. the scribes, which came from Jerusalem. 2 And when they saw some of his disciples eat bread with defiled, that is to say, with unwashen hands, they found fault. 3 For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, except they wash their hands oft, eat not, holding the tradition of the elders. 4 And when they come from the market, except they wash, they eat not. And many other things there be, which they have received to hold, as the washing of cups, and pots, brazen vessels, and of tables. 5 Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy dis ciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands ? 就 因爲法利賽 有一 了。凡ㄞˋ於 耶撒 穌勒 所地船、 銅來集 第七章 法利賽人和幾個讀書人從耶路撒冷來聚集到耶穌面前看見他門徒有人手不乾淨就是沒有洗手吃飯便責備他們 傳下來的規矩吃飯不先洗手呢。 法淨 於是上船到了他們那裏風就止住衆人心裏甚是驚訝希奇因爲他們心裏愚頑不明白分餅的奇事 旣渡過去到了革 或他ㄢˋ 在跑奇 街遍因 市周 上、園 穌見 容耶、 著用渡 的過 人、擡去、 就到到 利淨 人洗門 只地們 耶聽裏 書不 人、吃手 問飯,不 他穌不 們在 摸那白 古吃 人飯,他 都 那了 |
