"Blessed is the seeker, who sought the cover of My Greatness and Might."

"Blessed is the timid, who fled to the shelter of My Arch."

"Blessed is the thirsty, who hastened to the Sweet Brook of My Providence."

"Blessed is the hungry, who gave up his lust for My Love, and attended the Banquet, which descended from the Heavens of My Favor upon My Chosen Ones."

"Blessed is the humble, who held to the Rope of My Might, and the poor, who sought the shadow of the Vaults of My Riches."

"Blessed is the ignorant, who tried to find the Fountain of My Knowledge, and the negligent, who took hold to the Rope of My Commemoration."

"Blessed is the spirit, which was born anew by My Breath and entered into My Kingdom."

"Blessed is the soul, which was thrilled by the Sweet Odor of My Presence, and attracted to the Dawning Place of My Cause."

"Blessed is the ear, which hath heard, and the tongue which hath borne witness, and the eye, which hath seen and recognized the personality of the Lord, the owner of the Kingdom and Glory, and the Holder of Greatness and Might."

"Blessed is he, who was enlightened from the Sun of My Word."

"Blessed is he, who hath adorned his head with the Crown of My Love."

"Blessed is he, who hath heard in regard to My

Sufferings, and rose up to My Help amidst My creatures.'

"Blessed is he, who redeemed himself in My Path, and encountered the calamities for the sake of My Name."

"Blessed is he, who was charmed by My Chants, and through My Power, rent asunder the veils."

"Blessed is he, who hath fulfilled My Covenant, and the world hindered him not from coming to the Court of My holiness."

"Blessed is he, who hath cut himself from everyone beside Me, and soared high in the Heaven of My Love, and entered into My Kingdom, and beheld the worlds of My Might and drank from the Spring of My Providence, wherein, he realized My Cause, and understood what I did conceal in the Treasures of My Utterances, and shone out from the Horizon of My Knowledge, worshipping and praising Me. Verily, He is of Me. Upon him be My Mercy, My Providence, My Generosity and My Splendour."

CHAPTER IV.

THE BEHAI CLAIMS ARE TRUE.

Dr. Wilson denied that a new religion is needed, see p. 33: "Christianity is neither stagnant nor dead. It has a forward triumphant movement. The Church renews its strength from its divine Head; He, alive forevermore, is its Light and its Life." It is surprising how little comprehended are the teachings of that divine Head. Christ himself abrogated Christianity throughout his teachings by giving the glad tidings of the coming of the Father to save His vineyard from the husbandmen who cast the Son out of the Vineyard. He also promised that greater days and higher teachings are to come, and that we shall be guided into all truth and attain our redemption. So you see, if we say that there is no need of a new religion, it would be a contradiction to the teachings of Christ.

The comely names and lofty attributes ascribed to Beha 'U'llah by his followers were considered by Dr. Wilson on p. 38, "Empty boasting," but Christ and the prophets imputed to Him the following names and lofty stations. The only True God, The Lord of the Vineyard, The Everlasting Father, Alpha and Omega, Almighty God, The Lord of Hosts, The Glory of God, The Prince of Peace, etc., etc., and it is not an "Empty boasting."

Christ himself expressly compared his own personalities to the lofty Personality of the Father in saying to his disciples, "Believe me not, if I were talking to you from myself, but believe me, because the Father who abideth in me, is talking and doing the work."

Mohammed was asked, in what language will God speak to His creatures? He answered, "in the Arabic language." This was fulfilled, because Beha 'U'llah, although a Persian, revealed most of His great books as Kitabul Ackdas in the Arabic language and not in the Persian and Arabic as Dr. Wilson stated.

"Behaism and Its Claims" contains a wild storm of gossip and false accusations against Beha 'U'llah, which conveys to the mind that Dr. Wilson's informer was a mere prater. A statement on p. 42, reads as follows: "But does not the truth demand that it be stated that his (Beha's) reputation in Persia is sullied by definite accusations of vice and immorality? I have heard such narratives with statements of the time, place and associates who were partakers of his guilt."

If Dr. Wilson were asked in what language he heard such narratives, he cannot claim that he heard them either in the Arabic or in the Persian language, for he does not know them. Perhaps he heard them in the Nestorian language, which he studied to preach to the Assyrian Christians, who live in Persia. This forces us to conclude that his informer was a Christian who fabricated the above mentioned story, because a Christian in Persia cannot gain the confidence of, and be intimate with Mohammedans, nor be tolerated to accompany them anywhere they go, especially

Mohammedan nobles, who can associate with a noble person such as Beha. Furthermore if it were granted that his informer had accompanied and associated with such immoral and guilty people who divulged their secrets to him, he himself must have been immoral and guilty like them and his statement is a mere falsehood and therefore unacceptable.

Christ prayed for those who crucified him for they did not know what they were doing. Likewise Dr. Wilson did not know that he sinned against the Holy Spirit. May God have mercy on him and help him to return to God who came for his redemption.

Another false accusation on p. 204, which Dr. Wilson repeated in every chapter, like other accusations, in order to magnify them and create in the minds of the readers prejudice and hatred toward Beha 'U'llah and His people, is as follows: "According to Abdul Baha, this appointment (of Subhi Azal) was a dishonest subterfuge on the part of Baha, arranged by him through secret correspondence with the Bab, in order that Baha might be relieved of danger and persecution and be protected from interference." "This account shows the low ideas of honour and truthfulness in the minds of Baha and Abdul Baha."

Beha 'U'llah is Most High and Sanctified from ascribing to Him (tagiah-dissimulation of one's faith) that He secretly appointed his brother Subhi Azal as the successor of the Bab in order to be protected from interference. He prohibited tagiah-hypocrisy or dissimulation in all his Utterances and declared that he never flattered any one in the cause of God.
