La Colonel G. N. Channer served in the Umbeyla campaign of 1863 and was present at the actions of the 16th 172 December (Medal with Clasp). G Major Walter served with the 8th Bengal Native Infantry at Forts Michuee ad Shubkudder during the operatious against the Eusofzais in 1863-64 Served with the 8th Bengal Native Infantry in the Afghan war in 1978-80 with the Khyber Brigade (Medal).

663 Lt.Colonel H. B. Hanna served as a volunteer and local Lieutenant throughout the mutinies of 1857-59,-the latter rank was conferred on him for services in the field. In the Rohilcund campaign he received a sabre and a bullet wound and his charger three sabre cuts, and he was mentioned in despatches. Lem. Wright served with the King's Dragoon Guards in the Zulu war of 1879 (Medal with Clasp). Leat. Vaughan served with the 6th Punjab Infantry in the Jowaki Afreedee Expedition in 1877-73 (Medal with and in the Mahsood Wuzeeree Expedition in 1881.

Leat. Biddulph served in the Afghan war in 1878-79 as Aide de Camp to Major General Biddulph (Medal).

Moloney served with the 3rd Sikh Infantry in the Jowaki expedition of 1877-78 (Medal with Clasp). * Mr. Costello served with the 6th Punjab Infantry in the Umbeyla campaign in 1863-64 (Medal with Clasp), Served at the base of operations in the Jowaki expedition of 1877-78 (Clasp). Served in the Afghan war of 1878-80, first in charge of the Native Base Hospital of the Koorum Field Force, and afterwards with the 1st Goorkhas in the Khy. ber Line Force (thanked by the Governor General and by the Commander in Chief in India in General Orders. Medal). Mr. Oldham served with the 1st Goorkhas in the operations in the Malay Peninsula in 1875-76 (Medal with Clasp). Also served with the 1st Goorkhas in the Afghan war of 1878-79 (Medal).

5 Mr. Lewtas served in the Afghan war of 18 8-80 with the Guides Cavalry, and was present at the taking of Ali Musjid, the action of Futtehabad, the storming of the Takht-i-Shah heights near Cabul on 13th December 1879. and at the storming of the Asmai heights on the 14th December (mentioned in despatches). Was present ithroughout the operations at Sherpore, and in the engagement at Charasiab on 25th April 1880 (mentioned in despatches, Medal with Clasp).

Mr. Hancock served in the Afghan war of 1878-80, and was present at the affair at Mattoon, in the engage ment at Charasiab on 6th October 1879, and in the operations around Cabul in December 1870, including the investment of Sherpore (Medal with two Clasps).

Mr. Bookey served with the 6th Punjab Infantry in the Jowaki Afree lee Expedition in 1877 78 (Medal with Clasp), and in the Mahsood Wuzceree Expedition in 1881.
