Brevet of Major, and Turkish Medal). Mor B. D. Musgrave served with the 87th Fusiliers in India throughout the Indian mutiny (Medal).

7 Major C. E. Musgrave served with the Rille Brigade at the siege of Sebastopol in 1855 (Medal with Clasp, and Tarih Medal).

Major Nash served in the American war with the 103rd Regiment, and was present at the action of Lundy's Lore storming of Fort Erie, 15th Aug. 1814,-severely wounded in the leg by a musket-ball, and afterwards blown up by the esplosion of a powder magazine; present also in the action at Chippewa.

Major Noott served in the White Sea, blockading the Russian ports during the summer of 1854.

21 Major W. D. Nunn served with the 20th Regiment in the Crimea from the 15th July 1855, including the siege I fall of Sebastopol; also at the capture of Kinbourn (Medal with Clasp, and Turkish Medal). Served in the Tan empaign of 1857 58, including the actions of Chanda, Umeerpore, and Sultanpore, siege and capture of Lashow, s be queut operations in Oude and affairs of Mohan, Hussengunge, Meangunge (as Orderly Officer to Puador Eveleza), Churda, Fort of Musjecdia, and Bankce (Medal with Clasp).

Major O Conor served with the 17th Regiment in the Crimean campaign from 17th Dec. 1854, including the end fall of Sebastopol, and assault of the Redan on the 18th June-mentioned in despatches (Brevet of Major, Medal with Clasp, 5th Class of the Medjidie, and Turkish Medal),

24 Major O'Malley served as second in command with the 18th Punjaub Infantry in the Peshawur Expeditionary Free on the Eusofzai Frontier in 1858 under Sir Sidney Cotton, and was present in the affair on the Heights Stars, and cxpulsion of a large body of the Gazzie tribe and Hindostanee fanatics from the village of Seta Medal with Clasp).

Major Orr served with the 7th Fusiliers at the siege and capture of Copenhagen in 1807; at the siege of Martrique in 1809; and in the Peninsula from 1810, including the battle of Albuhera (severely wounded by a musketFal in the leg), passage of the Eslar and the Ebro, action of Osman, battle of Vittoria, investment of Pampeluna unded in the breast by a musket-ball), action at the Pass of Roncesvalles, battle of the Pyrences, passage of the Boasson, battles of the Nivelle, Nive, and Orthes, besides various minor actions and skirmishes (War Medal with Cght Clasps).

Major J. Paton served with the 4th Regiment throughout the Eastern campaign of 1854-55, including the battle Inkerman, siege and fall of Sebastopol-wounded (Medal with two Clasps, Knight of the Legion of Honor, and Turkish Medal). Served also in the Indian campaign in 1857-78. 11 succceded to the command of the Troops at tattack on the Fort of Beyt 2nd April 1858, on the senior Officer being dangerously wounded (Medal).

Major Paul served with the 31st Regiment throughout the Sutlej campaign of 1845-46, including the battles of Madlee, Ferozeshah (wounded), Buddiwal, Aliwal, and Sobraon (Medal and three Clasps). Served as Brigade jor in New Zealand during the operations at Taranaki in 1860 61 (Brevet of Major), and also during hostilities in the Taranaki and Waikato districts in 1863 (mentioned in general orders and despatches, Medal).

Major Paynter served with the 1st Dragoon Guards in the Crimea from Aug. 1855, including the siege and fall of Sebastopol and battle of Tehernaya (Medal with Clasp).

Mojar Peel sorved with the 13th Light Infantry in the Crimean campaign from the 30th June 1855, including Le battic of the Tehernaya, siege and fall of Sebastopol (Media! with Clasp, and Turkish Medal). Served in the Plan campaign in 1858; commanded the Rear Guard in the retreat from Jugdespore, and was present in the actions Dotwal and Toolsepore (Medal).

Major Pelly served with the 37th Regiment in the Indian campaign of 1857-58, and was engaged with the enemy Atrales and Koelsa (mentioned in despatches); besieged in Azighur and sortie thence; proceeded with Brioder Douglas's Column in pursuit of Koer Sing, and present in the actions of 17th and 20th April (Meda!).

Major Percy served in the Crimen with the 9th Regiment from August 1855, including the siege and fall of Sustopol (Medal with Clasp, and Turkish Medal).

Major Peto served with the 73rd Regiment in the Kulfir war of 1846-47 (Medal).

Major C. B. Phillipps served with the 30th Regt, in the Crimea from 31st Dec. 1854, including the siege and fall Sebastopol, and attacks of the 18th June and 8th Sept. (Medal with Clasp, and Turkish Medal).

Major E. Phillips served the Eastern campaign of 1854 55 with the Sth Hussars, meluding the battles of Baklava (horse shot), Inkerman, and Tchernaya, and siege of Sebastopol (Medal with three Clasps, and Turkish Xels). Served in Rajpootana in 1858 59, was present at the capture of Kotah, and commanded a Squadron of the Hussars in Brigadier Honner's pursuit of the rebels and at their defeat at Koorshana (mentioned in despatches, Xeld with Clasp).

Major Philpot served with the 74th Regiment throughout the Kaffir war of 1851-53 (Medal).

Major F. G. S. Parker served with the 54th Regiment during the Indian Mutiny, including Lord Clyde's campag in Oude in 1858-59 (Medal).

Major Poore served in Rajpootana and Central India in 1858-59 with the 8th Hussars, and was present at the Capture of Kotah, reoccupation of Chundaree, battle of Kotah ke Serai, capture of Gwalior, siege of Powree, and setion of Bejapore-severely wounded (mentioned in despatches, Brevet of Major, Medal with Clasp).

Major the Hon. Charles Powys, prior to entering the Army, served five years and three months in the Royal Navy, and was present in H.M.S. Blonde at the taking of the Morea Castle, in the Gulf of Lepanto, in 1828. He rved with the 9th Lancers in the campaign of 1848-49 in the Punjaub, including the passage of the Chenab at Rotanuggur, and battles of Chilianwallah and Goojerat (Medal with two Clasps).

Major Priestley served with the 32nd Light Infantry during the Indian campaign of 1857-58, and was present th Colonel Maxwell's Column in the operations before Calpee early in 1858, and proceeded with it to the Alumbagh Curing the taking of Lucknow in March 1858. Capture of the intrenched position at Dehaighn and Fort at Tyrool, ans of Doadpore and Jugdespore, surrender of the forts at Ahmetie and Shunkerpore, and pursuit of Beni the across the River Gogra (Medal).

Major Qucade served with a Detachment of the 12th and 40th Regiments under Captain Thomas at the capture astockade occupied by insurgents at the Ballarat Gold Fields in Australia on the 3rd Dec. 1854.

22 Major Quin served with a force under Sir Charles Napier against the Momund tribes, Peshawur district, in Nov. and Dec. 1851. Served in the Abyssinian campaign in 1868 as a Brigade Major (mentioned in despatches for indefatigable and zealous exertions," Brevet of Major).

243 Major F. J. B. Reed served as Aide de Camp to General Reed when he commanded at the siege of Delhi, and * present in all the actions that took place there from the 8th June to 17th July 1857, and volunteered afterwards Reserve with the 61st Regiment before Delhi (Medal with Clasp).

344 Major Henry Reid served at Cadiz from March 1813 to the end of the war. Served also in the American war, meluding the affair at Hampden.

25 Major Renny served with the 73rd Regiment in the Kaffir war of 1851-53 (Medal), including the operations in the Autolas, Fish River, Waterkloof, and Trans-Kei expeditions.

Major J. F. Reyne served with the 37th Regiment in the Indian campaign of 1857-58, including the first attempt to relieve Arrah under Captain Dunbar, actions of Atrowlea and Koelsa, defence of Azimghur from 25th March to 15th April 1858, pursuit of Koer Sing and actions of 17th and 20th April, capture of Jugdespore, actions * 17th 18th and 20th Oct. 1858, and subsequent pursuit (Meda).

Major Riley served the Eastern campaign of 1854 with the 88th Regiment, including the battles of Alma and Inkerman, and siege of Sebastopol (Medal with three Clasps, Sardinian and Turkish Medals).

Major C. F. Roberts served in the Crimean campaign from March 1855, and was present in the Trenches (wonuded) with the Siege Train at the siege and fall of Sebastopol, and bombardments of 6th and 17th June and 17th August, and was severely wounded by the explosion of the French powder magazine in Camp on the 15th Nov. 1835 (Medal with Clasp, Sardinian and Turkish Medals). Employed in India from January to April 1861 in emand of the Artillery with the Field Force in Sikkim under Lt.Colonel Gawler, and was mentioned in Orders by the Governor General for his services (Brevet of Major).

Major T. L. Roberts served with a field force in May and June 18.7 against the fort of Hote Murdan beld by muancers of the 55th Bengal Native infantry, and subsequently towards the Swat Valley. Present as Adjutant Stk. Punjauh Infantry at the mutiny of the 51st N.I. at Peshawar in Aug. 1857, and was severely emtused and slightly wounded by a musket-shot by the mutineers. Served the campaign of 1859 against the rebels on the Nepaul Frontier as 2nd in Command 3rd Sikh Infantry; and for several months commanded posts on the frontier with a Wing 3rd Sikhs and a troop of Irregular Cavalry; present in the action with the Nani and Bala Rao at Ruttenpore, and in carrying their position in the Nepaul Hills on the 28th March; when reconnoitring in the hills with two Companies 3rd Sikhs fell in with and conducted into camp Mahomed Hoosain the Nazim of Gorruckpore, with 200 armed followers and six elephants; commanded the 3rd Sikhs in the affair with the Nusseerabad Brigade on 11th Nov.; and present at the final surrender of the rebels at Dukairee in December (twice mentioned in despatches, Medal). Served as D.A.Q.M. General to the force under Brigadier General Staveley during the operations against the Taeping rebels in the vicinity of Shanghai in April and May 1862, including the capture of the stockades of Naziang, assault and capture of the walled cities of Kading, Tsingpoo, Najow, and Tsolin, affair of Nagiang, and relief of Kading (mentioned in despatches).

251 Sir George Robinson was present with the 22nd Regiment at the taking and destruction of the villages in the Boree Valley under Brigadier Boileau in 1853. Commanded the flank companies of the 22nd Regiment with the force under Sir Sydney Cottou in August and September 1854 against the Mohmunds, and was present at the taking and destruction of the villages of Shahmooschklyl, Sardeen, and Dubb, on the North West Frontier of India (Medal with Clasp).

25 Major G. Rowland served with the 1st Royals throughout the campaign of 1860 in China, including the taking of Sinho and Tangku, occupation of Tientsin, and surrender of Pekin (Medal with two Clasps).

153 Major St. Jolin served with the end Highlanders in the Central India campaign from 22nd Aug. 1848 to 11 March 1859; was present as Brigade Major at the affair of Rajghur, and as A.Q.M. General at the affairs of Mongrowlie, Sindwabo, and Korai (three times mentioned in despatches, Brevet of Major, and Medal).

9534 Major F. S. Schomberg served with the 57th Regiment in the Crimea in 1855, including the siege and fall of Sebastopol, and attack of the Redan on the 8th Sept.; also bombardment and capture of Kinbourn (Medal with Clasp, and Turkish Medal). On outpost duty under Colonel Warre on the line of the Taptee river in co-operation with the Central India Field Force. Served in the New Zealand war in 1864-66, including the attack and capture of Ahu Ahu and Kaithe (Medal).

234 Major Scott served in the oth Lancers at the close of the Punjanb campaign in 1849 (Medal). Served as D.A.Q.M.General to Lugard's Division from 28th Feb. 1858, and was present at the taking of the Dilkoosha, Martiniere, Banks' House, Begum's Palace, and capture of Lucknow, with subsequent operations; joined detached Column under Walpole, commanded a Squadron at the attack on Rhodamow, also at the action of Aligunge (Medal with Clasp, twice mentioned in despatches). Was awarded the Silver Medal of the Shipwrecked Mariners' Society for gailan conduct on the occasion of the wreek of the troop-ship Julia on the coast of Sind.

255 Major B. Shiffner served with the 34th Regiment in the Indian campaign in 1857-58, including the action st Cawnpore on 26th 27th and 28th Nov. 1857, capture of Meeangunge, siege and capture of Lucknow, and relief of Azimghur (Medal with Clasp).

256 Major Shuckburgh served with the Scots Fusilier Guards in the Eastern campaign up to Nov. 1854, including the battles of Alma, Balaklava, and Inkerman (severely wounded), and siege of Sebastopol (Medal with four Clasps, and Turkish Medal).

257 Major H. S. Singleton served with the 30th Regiment in the Crimea from the 5th May 1855, including the stege and fall of Sebastopol (Medal with Clasp, and Turkish Medal).

258 Major R. P. Smith served with the roth Hussars in the Crimean campaign from the 17th April to the 3rd July 1855, including the capture of Tehorgaun and siege of Sebastopol (Medal with Clasp, and Turkish Medal). 259 Major W. Squirl served as a Lieutenant in the Austrian Army under Marshal Radetzki in 1848-49, and present at the battles of Mortara and Novara. Served with the 91st Regiment in the Kaffir war of 1850-53 (Metal) 260 Major F. R. Stack served as an Ensign in the 45th Regiment at Newport in Monmouthshire during the Chartist riots of November 1839, when his father's Company of that Regiment defeated a body of nearly 5,000 armed ma led on by the ex-Mayor of Newport, Mr. John Frost, who attacked the town with the treasonable intention of er m inencing a revolution in the government of the country. The defeat of this insurrectionary host after eleven were killed on the spot and about thirty or forty wounded, was characterized at the time in the Imperial Parliament as having been the means of saving the whole of England from anarchy and rebellion. For this service each of the three Officers of the Company received the thanks of the Queen and of the Commander in Chief, and also the thanks from the counties of Monmouthshire, Glamorganshire, and Breconshire. In April 1855 be was promoted to a Majority in the Turkish service, and served at Constantinople, Bayukdere, and the entrenched Camp at Kerte during the winter of 1855 until the disbandment of the Anglo-Ottoman Force, and has received the 4th Class of the Medjidie and a Lt.Colonel's commission from the Sultan.

261 Major Stapylton served in the Indian campaign in 1858-59 with the 2nd Dragoon Guards, including the action of Nusserutpore, siege and capture of Lucknow (charger wounded), subsequent operations, actions of Koorse and Nawabgunge, the Oude campaign, action of Jamo, siege and capture of Birwah, and Trans-Gogra affairs at Bungaon; commanded a Squadron of the Bays and Drummond's Police Cavalry (Natives) on a detached operation at Jamo, in conjunction with the remainder of the Cavalry under Colonel Seymour; and during the operatiiss against Sirardus Sing near Seerora, he also had a Squadron party detached (mentioned in despatches, Metal wah Clasp).

Was present with the force under Sir Colin Campbell against the hill tribes near Peshawur in May and June 1852 (Mesial with Clasp). Served as Brigade Major in China, and accompanied the expeditionary force to the North; was preserLIN every engagement from its landing at Pehtang to the occupation of Pekin (Medal with Clasps, and Brevet of Major) 26 Major D. Stuart served at the siege and capture of Kittoor in the East Indies in Dec. 1824.

267 Major W. E. Stuart has received the Turkish War Medal and the 4th Class Order of the Medjidie, for service as Aide de Camp to Major General M. W. Smith, commanding Osmanli Cavalry.

Le Poer Trench served in the 52nd Light Infantry during the Indian mutiny campaign in 1857-58 including the defeat of the Senkote mutineers on the banks of the Ravee in July 1857, siege assault and occupation of Delhi from 13th Aug. to 22nd Sept. 1857 (Medal with Clasp). Served with the 40th Regiment in the New Zealand war in 1863-65, and was present at Rangariri, Waiari, and Orakau (Medal).

Major Trevor served with the 4th Regiment the Eastern campaign of 1854, and up to 16th Feb. 1855, including the battles in the Crimea and siege of Sebastopol (Medal with three Clasps, and Turkish Medal).

Major Turner served with the 65th Regiment in New Zealand during the war of 1846, and also throughout that of 1860-61, and was severely wounded in the action at Mahoetahi (Brevet of Major, and Medal).

Major Venables served with the 97th Regiment in Bengal in suppressing the mutiny in 1857-58, and was present in the actions of Nusrutpore, Chanda, Umeerpore, and Sultanpore, siege and capture of Lucknow; operations in Bundlecund and the Chutterpore territory in 1859, and commanded the Nowgong Field Force in the affair of Suleia (Medal with Clasp).

20 Major Vereker served with the 12th Regt. in the New Zealand war of 1863-65, including the storm and capture of the Maori position at Orakau on 1st and 2nd April 1864 (Medal).

21 Major Vesey served as Adjutant of the 72nd Highlanders in the Crimea from 28th May 1855, including the expedition to Kertch, siege and fall of Sebastopol, and attack of the 18th June (Medal with Clasp, 5th Class of the Medjidie, and Turkish Medal). Served at the siege and capture of Kotab, and was present with the leading Column of assault on the 30th March 1859, pursuit of the Gwalior rebels in Rajpootana and battle of Bunass, subquently throughout the operations in Central India and pursuit of the rebel forces under Tantia Topee and Pao Sahib in 1858-59; commanded Detachment of the 72nd Highlanders in the action of Oodeypore (mentioned in des. patches, Brevet of Major, Medal with Clasp).

Major Walter served the Indian campaign of 1858-59 with the 53rd Regiment, and was present at the passage of the Gogra at Fyzabad on 25th November, the affair of Bungaon, battle of Toolsepore (performed the duties of a mounted Officer), and some minor affairs. Commanded the Left Wing of the 53rd in Sir A. Horsford's Column during the latter part of the Trans-Gogra campaign-twice mentioned in despatches (Medal).

Sir Augustus Riversdale Warren served with the zoth Regiment in the Crimen from the 26th January 1855, incuding the siege and fall of Sebastopol, and capture of Kinbourn (Medal with Clasp, 5th Class of the Medjidie, and Turkish Medal). Served in the Indian campaign of 1857-58, including the actions of Chanda, Umeerpore, and Satanpore, siege and capture of Lucknow (wounded), subsequent operations in Oude and affairs of Pohan and Meangunge, also at Churda, and Fort of Musjeedia (Medal with Clasp).

Major C. Warren was Senior Officer of the Troops on board the Charlotte, when that ship went to pieces during a gale of wind in Algoa Bay, in September 1854; 63 soldiers, 11 women, and all the children were drowned. Captain Warren remained to the last with the captain of the ship, encouraging and cheering his men, and was specially mentioned in General orders by General Jackson for his gallantry and good conduct on this trying occasion. Served with the 27th Regiment on the North-West Frontier during the Indian mutiny in 1857-59 (Medal).

Major H. E. Warren served with the 60th Rifles in the Kaffir war of 1851-53 (Medal). Also in the Indian matiny campaign in 1858-59 in the Shahabad district, and commanded Detachments of the Battalion in several engagements (mentioned in despatches, Medal). And throughout the campaign of 1860 in China (Medal with two Clasps). Major Warry served with the 34th Regiment in the Crimea from February to the 30th July 1855, including the size of Sebastopol; was severely contused in the Trenches on the 18th June (Medal with Clasp, Brevet of Major, and Turkish Medal).

Major Way served with the 29th Regiment throughout the Punjaub campaign in 1848-49, including the passage of the Chenab, and battles of Chillianwallah and Goojerat (Medal with two Clasps).

Major E. T. Webb served with the Persian expedition in 1857, including the storm and capture of Reshire, and surrender of Bushire (Medal with Clasp).

* Major J. C. Weir served in the Kaffir war of 1851-53 (Medal); and with the expedition north of the Orange river in 1852-53. Also the China war of 1860, including the actions of the 3rd 12th and 14th August, 18th and 21st Sot, and advance on Pekin (Medal with Clasps for the Taku Forts and Pekin).

Major J. O. Wemyss landed in the Crimea on 7th Feb. 1855, and served with the 71st Light Infantry in the Trenches at the siege and fall of Sebastopol, and on the Expedition to Kertch; also served at the destruction of atal affairs at Taman in Sept. 1855 (Medal with Clasp, Sardinian and Turkish Medals).

Major Weyland served the campaigns in Upper Canada from 1812 to 1815, including the actions at Fort George and Stoney Creek, at which last he was severely wounded.

Major H. R. White served with the 89th Regiment in the Crimea from the 5th January 1855, including the siege and fall of Sebastopol, and attacks on the 18th June and 8th September (Medal with Clasp, Brevet of Major, 5th Cass of the Medjidie, and Turkish Medal).

Sir George S. Whitmore served in the latter part of the Kaffir war in 1847. Was in the action of Boem Plaats and defeat of the insurgent Boers in 1848. Served throughout the Kaffir war of 1851-52, and was present with the 2nd Division in nearly every affair, including the storming of the Iron Mountain. Commanded Sir Harry Smith's escort from March to November 1851, during which time he was repeatedly employed as a Staff Officer with the Various Columns on patrol. Acted as Major of Brigade to the 2nd Division from November 1851 to October 1852; and as Brigade Major to the Cavalry Brigade in the expedition under Sir George Cathcart, ending in the battle of Berca. He has had two horses shot under him in action, and has been repeatedly thanked in brigade and division crders, as well as in the general orders and despatches of Sir H. Smith and of Sir G. Cathcart (Medal). Brevet of Major, Turkish Medal, and 4th Class of the Medjidie, for service with the Turkish Contingent.

Major Wilkin served in the 11th Hussars throughout the Eastern campaign of 1854-55, including the affairs of Balganac and M'Kenzie's Farm, battles of Alma, Balaklava, Inkerman, and Tchernaya, siege and fall of Sebastopol Medal with four Clasps, 5th Class of the Medjidie, and Turkish Medal). Had the honour of being called out in front of the Regiment on parade and thanked by the Commander in Chief for services in the field. Served in the 7th Hussars in the Indian campaign in February and March 1858 (severely wounded when acting as Brigade Major of Cavalry, and brought the Troop engaged out of action in the operations before Lucknow, and from Dec. 1858 to March 1859); was present at the affair of Meangunge (as Adjutant of the Left Wing of the Regiment), siege and capture of Lucknow, throughout the Trans-Gogra campaign including the affair near Churda and pursuit, taking the Fort of Meejeedia, attack on Bankee with pursuit to the Raptee, advance into Ncpaul and affair of Sitkaghat (mentioned in despatches for "making a brave attempt to rescue Cornet Bankes who was surrounded by the enemy and was wounded," Medal with Clasp, and Brevet of Major).

Major Alfred E. Wilkinson served with the 9th Lancers in the Punjaub campaign of 1848-49, including the barties of Chillianwallah and Goojerat (Medal with two Clasps). Also in suppression of the Indian mutiny in 1857-59 present at the assault and capture of Delhi, and action of Bolundshuhur, commanded a Squadron in the actions of Allyghur, Agra, and Kanouge, present at the relief of Lucknow by Lord Clyde, and at the final siege and capture of the city, commanded a Squadron throughout the summer campaign in Oude and Rohilcund, including actions at Bloriamow, Allygunge, capture of Bareilly, Shajehanpore, and pursuit to Mahomdee (twice mentioned in despatches, Medal with three Clasps).

Major H. C. Wilkinson served with the 82nd Regiment in the Crimea from the 2nd Sept. 1855, including the siege and fall of Sebastopol (Medal with Clasp, and Turkish Medal). Served also in the N. W. Provinces in suppressing the Indian mutiny in 1857-58, and was present at the second relief of Lucknow, defeat of the Gwalior Contingent at Cawnpore, action of Bunkagaon, siege of the Jail and subsequent operations at Shahjchanpore, and affairs of Mahoindee and Shahabad (Medal with Clasp).

Major A. W. Williams served with the 12th Lancers throughout the Kaffir war of 1851-53 (Medal), including the passage of and operations across the Kei. Also in the Crimea from 9th May to 3rd August 1855, including the Beze of Sebastopol (Medal with Clasp, and Turkish Medal).

Major R. L. Williams served with the 1st Royals in the Crimea from the 29th Aug. 1855, including the siege and fall of Sebastopol, and was severely wounded on the 8th September (Medal with Clasp, and Turkish Medal). &rved the campaign of 1868 in China as D.A.Q.M.Gen., including the taking of Sinho and Tangku, actions of the 18th and 21st September, occupation of Tientsin, and surrender of Pekin (Brevet of Major, Medal with two Clasps).

Major R. 8. Williams served with the 93rd Highlanders in the Indian campaign of 1857-59, including the relief of Lucknow by Lord Clyde, battle of Cawnpore on 6th Dec. 1857, and pursuit to Seraighat, affair of Kala Nuddee, Lege and capture of Lucknow, attack on the Fort of Rooyah, actions of Allegunge and Bareilly, campaign in Oude and attack on Fort Mithowlie (Medal with two Clasps). Served in the Eusofzie campaign of 1863-64, and at the Umberla Pass under Sir John Garvock (Medal with Clasp).

Major Williamson served with the 48th Regiment in the Crimen from the 21st April 1855, including the siege and fail of Sebastopol (Medal with Clasp, and Turkish Medal).

301 Sir Henry Wilmot served with the 2nd Battalion Rifle Brigade during the Indian niutiny until November 1858, subsequently on the Staff of Sir Hope Grant; was present at the capture of Lucknow (Victoria Cross, Brevet of Major, Medal with Clasp).

303 Major John Wilson served with the 42nd Highlanders in the Crimean campaign of 1854-55, including the battle of Balaklava, expedition to Kertch and Yenikale, siege and fall of Sebastopol (Medal with two Clasps, th Class of the Medjidie, and Turkish Medal). Served also the campaign of 1857-58 against the mutineers in India including the actions at Cawnpore (6th Dec. 1857), Seraighat, and Kudygunge, siege and fall of Lucknow and assal of the Martiniere and Banks' Bungalow, attack on the Fort of Rooyah, action at Allygunge, attack and capture of Bareilly (Medal with Clasp).

303 Major G. Windham served with the Rifle Brigade in the Eastern campaign, including the battles of Alma and Balaklava, and siege of Sebastopol until April 1855 (Medal with three Clasps, and Turkish Medal). Served also during the Indian campaign of 1857-58, including the action of Cawnpore, siege and capture of Lucknow, battle of Nawabgunge, and taking of Fort Oomerea (Medal with Clasp).

30 Major H. O. Wood served the Peninsular campaign of 1814, including the investment of Bayonne.

305 Major J. J. Wood served with the 18th Royal Irish in the Burmese war of 1852 (Medal with Clasp for Pegul. Served with the 82nd Regiment in the Crimea from the 2nd September 1855, including the siege and fall of Selas topol (Medal with Clasp, and Turkish Medal).

307 Major W. W. Worswick served with an expeditionary force against the Indians of Yucatan in April and May 1861. Also in suppression of the disturbance in the Northern district.

308 Major Wrixon served in Spain from April 1812 to the end of the campaign, including the first siege of Tarragona, retreat therefrom, actions before Alcoy, battle of Castalla, second siege of Tarragona, action at Ordal, investment of Barcelona, besides various other affairs. Served also at the siege and capture of Genoa, and with the expedition to Naples.

309 Major Yard served in the 32nd Regiment at the first and second siege operations before Mooltan, including the attack on the enemy's position in front of the advanced Trenches on 12th Sept. 1848, the action of Soorjkoond, storm and capture of the city, and surrender of the fortress; also present at the surrender of the Fort and garrison of Cheniote, and at the battle of Goojerat (Medal with two Clasps).
