8 Caries Trollope commanded the Troops in the Island of Cephalonia in 1848, 49, and 50. In August the towns of Argostoli and Lixuri were attacked by armed banditti, who were repulsed by the troops with on both sides. In 1849 the island was disturbed by armed insurgents-martial law was proclaimed, which reed in force for six weeks, and was carried into effect by him; received the thanks of the Queen, and of the Lanre of the Ionian Islands, and was voted a sword by the inhabitants of Cephalonia. Served the Eastern from roth Nov. 1854-from the 12th Nov. until July 1855 as Colonel on the Staff, he commanded the 1st Blend Division; on 31st July he was Gazetted Brigadier General, and commanded 2nd Brigade 3rd DiviIn that date until the Army was broken up. Commanded in the Trenches as General of the Day, right a three separate occasions when sorties were made upon them and repulsed, and was present on all other when the and Division was employed, including the 8th and 18th June--on the former in command of Guard, and on the latter in command of five Regiments; on the 8th Sept. he was in command of 2nd reserve with the 3rd Division (Medal with Clasps, CB., Officer of the Legion of Honor, Sardinian and "Melais, and 3rd Class of the Medjidie).

Henry Percival de Bathe served with the Scots Fusilier Guards in the Crimean campaign from 17th Nov. tha was present at the siege and fall of Sebastopol (Medal with Clasp, 5th Class of the Medjidie, and Turkish

id Battalion returned from Zululand, October 1879. 2nd Battalion returned from India, 25 May 1870. Edward Holdich served as Aide de Camp to Sir Harry Smith throughout the campaign on the Sutlej in including the battles of Moodkee, Ferozeshah (wounded), Buddiwal, Aliwal, and Sobraon-severely wounded Aland three Clasps). As Aide de Camp to Sir Harry Smith in the action with and defeat of the rebel Boers at - Um Plaats (South Africa) on the 29th August 1848, and in the Kaffir campaign of 1850-51 (Medal, and Brevet of Lane). Served with the Soth Regt. in the Burmese war in 1853, with the expedition under Sir John Cheape at the robber chief Myattoon in the Donabew district, and at the assault and capture of his stronghold on the March-succeeded to the command of a Wing of Infantry (Medal for Pegu, and CB.) Accompanied the 80th to India in 1857, and served in the Sepoy rebellion. At the close of the operations in 1859 he succeeded Sir d Horsford as Brigader in command of the forces on the Nepaul frontier, when, in co-operation with the Seal troops, most of the rebel leaders and a large body of Sepoys who had taken refuge in the Nepaul Terai were cared, for which services he received the thanks of Government, and on the breaking up of the Brigade was ated, by Lord Clyde, Deputy Adjutant General of Her Majesty's Forces in India.

La Colmel Tredennek served with the 57th Regiment in the New Zealand war in 1865-66, and was present at Affair of Kakaramea, storm and capture of the fortified Pahs of Otapawa and Ketemeri, and various minor Medal). Served in the Zulu campaign of 1879, and commanded the 57th Regiment from the middle of the end of the war, including the operations of Clarke s Column" (Medal with Clasp).

14Clonel Picot served with the 57th Regiment in the New Zealand war of 1863-65, and was slightly wounded at bombardment of Kaitase (Medal).

Yugor Huskisson served with the Ɛoth Regiment in the Indian mutiny and campaign in Oude in 1858-59, ng the capture of the Fort of Simree, actions at Bera, Doondeakera and Bussingpore (Medal). Mar Hinam in served in the Perak expedition in 1875-76, and was promoted Captain 57th Regiment from ant roth Regiment, in recognition of his gallant services when commanding the attack on the Stockades hr, Malay Peninsala, 7th December 1875 (mentioned in despatches, Medal with Clasp). Served with rh Regiment in the Zulu war of 1879, and was severely wounded in the engagement at Gingindhlovu (Medal Clasp).

Captain Garstin served as Adjutant of the 57th Regiment in the Zulu war of 1879, including the action of niblown and re iel of Ekowe, and the operations of " Clarke's Column" (Medal with Clasp).

Captain Michel served throughout the Zulu war of 1879, first in the Transport Service and afterwards in the At Establishment (Medal with Clasp).

Lt. Warden served with the 7th Regiment in the Zulu war of 1879, and was present at the action of ilova and relief of Ekowe (Medal with Clasp).

Le Towers-Clark served with the 57th Regiment in the Zulu campaign of 1979, including the action of rablove and relief of Ekowe. Served afterwards to the end of the war as Orderly Officer to Lt Colonel while commanding successively the 2nd Brigade 1st Division and "Clarke's Columu."
