Buchanan served with the 10th Hussars in the Crimean campaign from 17th April 1855, ng the siege and fall of Sebastopol, battle of the Tchernaya, and affair of the 21st Sept. near Kertch with Clasp, and Turkish Medal). Served with the 6th Dragoon Guards throughout the Indian campaign including the operations in Rohilcund and action of Nugeena, relief of Bareilly, relief of bapore, capture of the Fort of Remai, and pursuit with destruction of the Fort of Mahundee, action of son, operations in Oude and actions of Mohudipore and Rusoolpore, attack and capture of Fort Mitoulee, of Alligunj and Biswa. Also served as officiating D. Q. M. G. to the Agra Field Force under Brigadier Central India in pursuit of Tantia Topee, Feroze Shah, and others (Medal). CJ. Farquharson served with the 23rd Fusiliers in the Oude campaign of 1858-59 (Medal). Served hard Gorkhas throughout the Umbeyla campaign of 1863, including the assault and capture of the Conical Eleges of Lalloo and Umbeyla (Medal with Clasp). Served also with the same Regiment throughout the campign. of 1868. Mr W. C. Mackinnon served with the 87th Fusilliers in Bengal throughout the Indian mutiny (Medal). H. Dyke was present with the 69th Regiment during the repulse of an incursion of Fenians into A. Agnew served with the 90th Light Infantry during the Indian campaign of 1857-58, and was pre- 8.
