por Casticau served at the sieges of Ter Vere and Flushing, and was in action with the batteries on 14 Aug, the subsequent operations in the Scheldt and retreat from Batz. In 1810 off Brest, l'Orient, and Basque Roads, everal affairs of boats. In 1811 on the North Coast of Spain. Present at the attack on Oporto by the Le forces, 29th Sept. 1832 and subsequent operations; present in the Pedroite works at the attacks of 5th Sept. 1833, the action which raised the siege of Lisbon 10th Oct. and at the battle of Loures 11th Oct. Jetuval and visiting the posts in the Algarves to ascertain and report upon the state of the contending With the R.M. Battalion on the North Coast of Spain co-operating with the troops of the Queen of Spain the Carlist war in 1836-40, including the action of Fuentarabia, and all the services performed there (Brevet er, and Cross of San Fernando).

Hon. H. J. L. Wood landed at the Gold Coast on the 30th November 1873, and served as Aide de Camp et Wolseley throughout the second phase of the Ashanti war, including the capture of Borborassie, battle sal, the battle of Ordahsu and capture of Coomassie, after which he was sent home with the despatches ed in despatches, promoted from Lieutenant in the 10th Hussars to Captain in the 12th Lancers (Brevet of 4. Medal with Clasp).

E. Gladstone served with the Baltic expedition in 1854 (Medal). Also in the Black Sea in the latter part Kiss and until the declaration of peace in 1856.

Mar J. G. Shanks served with the R. M. Battalion at Eupatoria in 1854, and with the Brigade in the Crimea the siege of Sebastopol in 18:5 (Medal with Clasp, 5th Class of the Medjidie, and Turkish Medal).

Mayr A Cook was employed with a detachment of the 32nd Madras Native Infantry that formed part of the in the field to intercept the rebels under Tantia Topee from 9th November 1858. Was engaged in the pursuit Agent Shans on the north-eastern frontier of Tenasserim and Martaban Provinces during May 1855. Mar 8. G. Huskisson served with the 80th Regiment in the Indian mutiny and campaign in Oude in 1858-59, az the capture of the Fort of Simree, actions at Bera, Doondeakera and Bussingpore (Medal). Served Autant of the Regiment with the left attack during the Bhootan Expedition of 1865-66 (Medal with Clasp). with the force under Major General Colborne against the Malays in Perak in 1875-76, as acting D. A. Q. M. aland was present at the capture of Kinta (mentioned in despatches, Brevet of Major, Clasp). Served in Zala war of 1879 (Medal).

Har J. J. N. Buchanan served with the 10th Hussars in the Crimean campaign from 17th April 1855, ng the siege and fall of Sebastopol, battle of the Tchernaya, and affair of the 21st Sept. near Kertch with Clasp, and Turkish Medal). Served with the 6th Dragoon Guards throughout the Indian campaign including the operations in Rohilcund and action of Nugeena, relief of Bareilly, relief of bapore, capture of the Fort of Remai, and pursuit with destruction of the Fort of Mahundee, action of son, operations in Oude and actions of Mohudipore and Rusoolpore, attack and capture of Fort Mitoulee, of Alligunj and Biswa. Also served as officiating D. Q. M. G. to the Agra Field Force under Brigadier Central India in pursuit of Tantia Topee, Feroze Shah, and others (Medal).

CJ. Farquharson served with the 23rd Fusiliers in the Oude campaign of 1858-59 (Medal). Served hard Gorkhas throughout the Umbeyla campaign of 1863, including the assault and capture of the Conical Eleges of Lalloo and Umbeyla (Medal with Clasp). Served also with the same Regiment throughout the campign. of 1868.

Mr W. C. Mackinnon served with the 87th Fusilliers in Bengal throughout the Indian mutiny (Medal).
B. Nagle served the Eastern campaign of 1854-55, including the battles of Alma and inkerman
ge and fall of Sebastopol, sortie of 26th October, and assault of the Redan on the 8th September
Distinguished Conduct in the Field and annuity of £20, also Crimean Medal with three Clasps, Kuight
e of Honor, and Turkish Medal).

H. Dyke was present with the 69th Regiment during the repulse of an incursion of Fenians into
May 1870.

A. Agnew served with the 90th Light Infantry during the Indian campaign of 1857-58, and was pre-
Havelock's Column at the actions of the 21st and 23rd Sept., relief and subsequent defence of Luck-
d) 17th Oct., defence of the Alumbagh by Outram, campaign in Oude, and final capture of Lucknow
two Clasps, and a year's service).

8. Shinkwin served with the 59th Regiment during the operations before Canton under Sir Michael the latter part of 1856 and beginning of 1857, and was present at the attack and capture of Fort Lin and behind Canton on 28th Dec., and at the storming and capture of the city (wounded) on 29th Dec. 1857; fair at the White Cloud Mountains, and afterwards with the expedition to the Gulf of Pecheli (Medal J. M. Benthall served with the King's Dragoon Guards in the Zulu war of 1879 (Medal with Clasp). * P. C. Story served in the Abyssinian campaign in 1868 with the Transport Corps (Medal). W. H. James served as Adjutant of the 31st Regiment throughout the campaign of 1860 in the north of dding the action of Sinho and storming of Tangku (Medal with Clasp for the Taku Forts). Served also the operations against the Taepings in the vicinity of Shanghai in April and May 1862, resulting in the the stockade at Nanhsiang, capture by escalade of the walled cities of Kadin, Tsinpoo, Tsolin, and fortified Najow, and the affair at Nanhsiang.

Mayor W. K. Westropp served with the 80th Regiment on the Bhootan expedition of 1865 (Medal with Clasp). red in the Afghan war in 1879-80 as Deputy Assistant Commissary General with the Jellalabad Field Force Brigadier General Gough, and subsequently with the Khyber Division under Major General Bright (Medal). Mayr A. H. Fraser served with the 33rd Regiment throughout the Abyssinian campaign of 1867-68, and was at the storming and capture of Magdala (Medal).

Major H. F. Smyth served in the Afghan war of 1878-80, first in the Koorum Valley, and afterwards in force in command of a Hazara Battery. Subsequently served with the Royal Horse Artillery in the exSe into the Wuzeer and Hissarik valleys (Medal). Major J. P. Soote served in New Zealand during General Chute's campaign of 1866 (Medal).
