Many neglected to do this, promising to do so as soon as the awards were made, which promise was not fulfilled in a single instance. The owners of animals were asked by mail to forward the needed information. About one-half responded. Some may complain because no description was given of certain animals. They may rest assured that the fault lies at their own doors, and not the neglect or oversight of the writer.
