THE HANDEL FESTIVAL. Sır, -No account has yet appeared of the actual numbers in the orchestra at the Handel Festival of this year. The “Book of the Words" gives names of performers, but says that many are wanting, owing to provincial names not having been sent in timc. Would the Musical WORLD kindly supply this desideratum, interesting to all musicians as being the largest complete orchestra probably ever collected, and give in the next number the exact number to each part, both in band and chorus ?
