The photographs in this book show the struggles of migrants at the border. Recently there has been a lot of activity in and around the canals in Tijuana … We hope our efforts bring humane treatment to the migrants living there. My friend Micaela Saucedo spent a lot of time fighting for the rights of people living in the canals, let’s hope the changes that are taking place are for the good of all concerned. My hope and goal with my art and photos is to shed light on the displaced migrants and to show the human side of the issues concerning deportation from the United States into Mexico.
